As soon as I had finished breakfast, I was ushered back to bed. He'd pushed the fact that I had been through something highly traumatic and should rest a bit more before dealing with what was soon to come. Meaning I would probably have to talk to the fire department and cops about what happened to my house. The faster I get it done, the sooner I can find mom. The sooner I can see her safe at a new home and get back to how things were, with maybe a few minor changes. My wings ached as I stretched them out, pacing the room in worry was only going to be a waste of my time. Walking over to the window I gave it a small push, causing it to open. If I folded my wings up tight enough to my body I would be able to take off towards town. Leaving the window open, I made my way back to the bed having decided now wasn't the time for me to go out and search on my own. Everyone was stressed enough as it was, they didn't need to worry about where I could be.
