Feelings

It’s been 1st week since I went home. I feel better at home. Today is Monday and it is my first day of school in this school year. I get up from bed and do my morning ritual. I get into the car and head to school. I took these weeks to see a little what was done in my absence. It’s David who drops me off at school taking care to tell me a good day. I’m entering the compound and all eyes are on me. They all look at me like a ghost. I act as if nothing had happened and greet my teachers who wish me a speedy recovery with smiles. I go upstairs and come across Laura just at our class gate. 


Me: thank you good morning to you say I as if I knew nothing 


Laura: you’re really lucky I made myself ink blood for you said she hugging me.
