Jules has o problems. Ever since she woke up in the forest on her Prom night, she has sleepwalked and woken up in the middle of the same forest with a knife in her hand and no recollection of what occurred the night before. Her second problem is the intense desire she has for Rowan Cross.
Rowan Cross has o problems. His Halo Master, Tristan wants him to investigate the disappearance of supernatural students who have gone missing on their college campus, and he wants Jules with every fiber of his being.

Vampire

 As soon as I get to the Halo, I head to Tristan’s office. He is sitting behind his desk, tapping away at his laptop, which seems mundane, considering that he’s a very powerful vampire. 


 His eyes hone in on mine as soon as I stop near his desk, and his brow furrows with consternation. “Where the hell have you been, Ro? I’ve been calling and texting all night.” 


 “Sorry, bro, I’ve been busy doing some sleuthing.” 


 He arches a brow. “And what exactly have you found?” 


 My lips tighten. “It’s bad, Tristan. Really bad.” 


 “Tell me,” He says as he rises from his seat and faces me. 


 “Well, for one, I know where the creatures are coming from.” 


 He puffs out an impatient breath. “Well, are you going to tell me, or are you going to continue dragging this on?”
