“What do you think?” Logan asks as soon as he sees me take a bite of soup stuffed with dumplings.

“Wow, it’s good,” I reply with a pleasurable sigh.

Logan smirks in reply. “Better than that weird English food, my brother cooks?”

Ewan gives him an offended scowl. “You git! I’m an amazing cook.”

Logan scoffs. “You said you’d make pudding. Do you really want me to explain what pudding is?”

Bella and I giggle at their brotherly banter.

It’s amusing and nice to see how comfortable Logan and Ewan are around each other. I remember a time when they could barely be in the same room.

Bella rolls her eyes. “Give your brother a break, Logan. I honestly thought the Sunday roast was delicious, and I loved the Yorkshire pudding. It was really good.”

“Yeah, I’ve enjoyed everything you’ve cooked so far,” I call out in Ewan’s defense.
