The Assassin's Atonement

 Ewan has been on edge since we left Logan’s house a couple of nights ago. However, when I asked him, he became reticent. I tried not to make too much of a big deal about it because he’s been so attentive, but I’m worried. Unfortunately, I’m close to graduation, which means that I’m busy with school and work. 


 I had just gotten out of class early and was driving to Ewan’s house to see if he wanted to spend the morning together. To Ewan’s consternation, I got my driver’s license two days ago. He seemed alarmed at the prospect that I’m legally able to drive, which amused me to no end. Ewan entered my thumbprint last week, so it would be easier for me to come in and out of his house. Smiling, I stride in but immediately stop in my tracks.
