Chapter 23: Why is life so complicated?

“Damn, girl, your man is fine!” Lana says with an ecstatic shudder the moment I walk into the apartment. Bree slumps down on the sofa with yogurt in hand and chuckles. “He is freaking hot! So, how’s the sex?” She asks with a deadpanned smile. I feel a flush journey down my cheeks at her question. Bree loves putting me on the spot. I mean, I love the girl, but sometimes I just want to choke her. I guess that is part of being in a friendship. Lana jumps onto the couch from the back of the seat and crosses her legs with anticipation. “Yes, do tell.” She says while rubbing her hands together like a sixties villain.
Shaking my head with a roll of my eyes, I sit in the seat across from them and give them a crafty yet reproachful smile. “Now girls, you know that I don’t kiss and tell. It’s not ladylike.”
