News of Maja's death

Clara was shocked to the core when she heard the news of Maja's death. Not once did she consider such an outcome to the situation they were in. She was shocked and confused, on one hand she has lost her friend and with this news she stands to lose the other friend too.

She didn't know what to do, she kept holding on to Matthew's unconscious body in fear that if she let go even she will break apart. She knew of the bond that Matthew and Maja shared and so she understood why this hurt him so much. She knew that it would affect Adrian just as badly and she wasn't sure if she will be strong enough to support him through this.

She also thought of Maja's grandfather and how he is going to be heart broken when he learns of his granddaughter's death. Her father and brother will also be shuttered not to mention Andrea who has also reconciled with her, she will miss her friend. Everyone was going to be shuttered when they learn about Maja's death.

Matthew's men came into the room and upon seeing the condition of both Matthew and Clara they didn't dare say a word. They took Matthew away and took him to a room and layed him down on the bed. Now alone with her thoughts and her sorrows she broke down completely. She sat there on the ground and cried her heart out. There was so much going on in her mind that couldn't hold it in anymore.

She felt bad about the news that she received. She felt like her heart has been run over by a truck, her body was flooded by all kinds of emotions that tore her apart. She felt sad, angry and guilty. She felt sad that she had lost a friend, angry because her friend was not supposed to die she was supposed to come back and everything would go back to normal. Guilty because she never got to apologize to Maja for what happened. She never got to ask for her forgiveness for everything she did to her.

She had a plan of how to get Maja to forgive her so they can be friends again but now, things have changed and she will never get the chance at all. She screamed loudly to release the frustration from her heart. Her scream attracted Adrian's attention and he came there running. He was shocked to see Clara on the floor, her hair was messy and her clothes were covered in dirt. He went to her and carried her bridal style out of the room.

He didn't know the reason for her current state but he was also scared to ask in fear of adding salt to her wounds. He layed her gently down on the bed and sat next to her. Her eyes were red and swollen from all the crying. She looked at nothing at all as the body drained of all energy.

She lay down lifeless at the thought of her friend. She gathered enough strength to speak and spoke to him. "Matthew's men found Maja. They found her but she is dead, he killed her."

"Its alrig...," Adrian began to comfort her when his mind processed the words that came out of her mouth. He froze, he didn't know if he had her wrong or not. The state Clara was in told him that he had exactly what she said and that she was not joking. He didn't have much time to process everything properly when he had people wailing downstairs.

He let go of Clara's hand and rushed out of the room. He reached downstairs and found his entire family there in the warehouse crying. The Salvador's were also here and they too were crying. He walked towards them and held his grandmother who almost fell to the ground. His brother and sister who were supposed to be abroad were also there hugging his parents in tears.

He looked at what all of them were looking at and right there in the middle of the room was Maja who layed with her eyes closed. His beautiful wife lay there silently without even a single movement. He stared at her in disbelief he couldn't believe his eyes. He was frozen in place, he stared at her unmoving. He was without emotions and stood stuck in place. His hands holding his grandmother dropped.

He stood there staring at her while everyone else was crying, he couldn't cry because he could barely believe that she was dead. They were supposed to be here for there honeymoon, they were supposed to be together forever then how can she be gone. They haven't even been married for a week let alone forever then how can she leave him. She came back for him so that they could be together then how can she die and leave him alone.

Maja is not a liar, she wouldn't leave when she promised that she would stay. She wouldn't allow anything or anyone to separate them not even death. She wouldn't do that when she promised to fight for their love. For the sake of their love she would never let them be separated. She loved and longed for him for so long she wouldn't simply leave him now that he belongs.

They belong to each other and she wasn't allowed to leave him without his permission and he hasn't given it to her. He had so many things planned for her, so many surprises he prepared just to make her happy. So that he can see her award winning smile, he loved her smile so much then how she just leave him and go to a place where he can neither reach her, touch her or see her. She would never do that as she knows that it will break his heart.

She loved him dearly since they were children and he had often had that love can move mountains then how could it not beat death. For the love she has had for him since their childhood she wouldn't dare go anywhere. She never left him in the past even when his actions demanded it then how can she leave him now when all he wants is for her to be with him.

She is not that kind of girl who would do something like that and he trusts her not to leave. He didn't want to believe what was right there in front of his eyes. He refused to believe that he would never be with her again.

His grandmother took him by the hand and left him to Maja's dead body, "my son you have lost your wife and the love of your life. Cry and let it out it is the only way you will get through this. If you don't cry today you will never be able to cry tomorrow." He just stood there and refused to listen to her. "I know it is hard to believe that she is gone dear, but it is the truth so just let her go peacefully. For the sake of your love let her go and moan her properly."

Her last words hit a nerve and Adrian broke down. He hugged his grandmother very tightly and cried in her chest, he had lost her and that was a reality that he couldn't change. His entire body trembled vigorously as he realized that death had taken his wife from him. The stress he had on that very day was too much for him to handle. His head started hurting her so much, he clutched his head in pain and screamed at the top of his lungs.

Everyone ran to him and everyone was worried about him. Slowly but surely his memories returned, he began to remember everything since the day he met Maja at her birthday party. He fainted from the pain.

The news of Maja's death spread around the country in no time like wild fire. The entire country was talking about it including all the news channels in the country. Her death had became the hottest topic in the whole country.
