Just then there were loud bangings on the doors of the restaurant, and Hinam glanced sharply back, staring at the doors.
He waved his hand and the hanging men crashed onto the floor, their faces still portraying the unbelievableness of their deaths.
Sticking his face close to that of the betraying man's, Hinam warned him darkly; "Speak a word of what happened here, and I will make sure their deaths look easier than yours. Do we have an understanding?"
Nodding vigorously, the man agreed, then Hinam stepped away from him to go unbolt and throw open the doors.
Streams of soldiers rushed past him into the restaurant, and stood at attention in neat rows, waiting for their Commander.
Soon enough a tall, very handsome, young man in full army regalia strode in, with his arms leisurely clasped behind his back, and his sheathed sword dangling menacingly from his slender waist.
He walked to the middle of the restaurant, paused, and looked around slowly, taking everything in.
