Chapter Twelve_Taming Their Snouts

As Hinam walked out of the emotionally-charged study, he slowly continued up the stone steps, but paused at the sight before him.

Prince Liyal stood at the top of the stairs, in his night wear, with looks of betrayal and anguish evident in his eyes.

The young Prince hiccuped then ran away towards his room, but Hinam chased hot after him.

"Wait, Wait! Liyal, Liyal dear..., Prince Liyal..., I said wait!" Hinam shouted in frantic tones, pursuing the young boy.

"Prince Liyal!" Hinam called out again, now inside Prince Liyal's room, and found him burrowed under his bed covers, his small shoulders shaking ever so slightly.

"Liyal dear, please listen to me.... Stop crying alright...," Hinam begged him as he drew him out of the bed covers, and hugged him to his chest. But Liyal struggled from his touch.

"Hey, hey..., can you please stop crying?" Hinam pleaded again, holding the distraught boy close to his chest.

Liyal then quieted, sniffing quietly on Hinam's chest.
