I had never seen Chad look so embarrassed and I took the advantage to laugh at his facial expression.
"Relax, I'm not trying to sexually manipulate you." I had no idea why I was talking like an idiot but I thought to make free food worth it.
"I think you're hungrier than I thought." Chad stretched his neck and looked around to see if he would catch sight of the waiter anywhere around.
I drew my lips into a pout but said nothing in response, for the fear of being loose.
When he noticed I was no longer speaking, he broke the silence between us. "Do you want us to go to my house after this?"
"Yes please. Home was so tiring I'm not going to lie. I'm just hoping that this time around, you have things in check." I refrained from rolling my eyes, being fully aware that he knew I was referring to Rebecca in this case.
"Don't worry about that." He assured me. "Come on," he smiled. "Tell me why?"
