Part XLV: Pleiades Sisters

“Pleiades, we need to act before it’s too late. It is our duty to protect the capital and yet we failed. Our mother couldn’t keep up with the strength of the enemy that the Pleione Fortress fell to Star’s hands.” Maia told them.

---A few days earlier---

“Sister, I have a very bad news. Mother’s Fortress was conquered and her power, the Pleione Star, was obtained by Star.” Merope, the youngest of the Pleiades, told Maia as she entered the latter’s office.

“Where is mother? How is she?” Maia asked as she stood and went to her.

“Mother is fine. I helped her escaped when I scouted what happened to the fortress because I sensed a release of large energy. She is in my fortress.” Merope replied as they went out of the office.

“Merope, call our sisters. We need to stop Star and her forces from invading the Capital. If the Taiyou fell in to the wrong hands the Sun Empire will cease to exist.” Maia told her as they walked to one of the towers.
