Chapter twenty six

The person's reflection showing in the mirror, has black hair, whites eyes, he's as tall as Devon. He even has the same body shape as Devon.

" Ordog will take everything from you, Devon " Ordog said.

Ördög (Ürdüng in Old Hungarian and equivalent to Erlik in Turkic mythology) is a shape-shifting, demonic creature from Hungarian mythology and early Hungarian paganism who controls the dark and evil forces of the world. After Christianization, it was identified with the devil.

That night, everyone was in pain. And this pain was unknown to Celina.

The next morning, Celina woke up. She took her bath, and dressed. As soon as she left the room, she saw one of their servant on the ground, laying unconscious. Celina went down, and started tapping the body. There was no response, so she shakes the body.

When she realized that the person was no longer breathing, she checked his heart. But his heart wasn't beating. Celina then felt his body temperature. His body was as cold as ice. Well normally, their bodies are cold, but this time as she didn't feel anything that could say he's alive, she realized that he's dead.

Celina quickly stood up, and ran down stairs to the living room...

" ahhhh " she screamed. Her hands were covering her mouth. The whole living room were filled with dead bodies of their slaves and guards.

Celina then ran to Devon's room. She saw him dressing with a smile on his face. She rushed to him...

" Devon, everyone's dead " she panickly said. Devon turned to her still smiling.

" and so? " he asked. Celina couldn't believe what she had just heard.

" why is your face like that?, they are dead, we can't do anything " Devon said, then left the room. Celina sat down on the bed, recording all the dead bodies she had just saw. It was so terrifying. Celina was in shock, as she remembered Lizzy and Jake.

Celina ran out of the room, and rushed to Lizzy's room first. But she wasn't there. She then ran to Jake's room. But non of them were there. Celina checked the whole house, but couldn't find any of them. And that was when she felt a little bit of relief, because non of them are in the mansion, so that means they are still alive.

While Devon on the other hand, was already using his power to take the dead bodies outside. The bodies were floating on air. As Celina saw Rufus body, she panicked, the ran to Devon's side...

" don't you think this people need a proper burial? " Celina asked angrily.

" no " Devon replied without care. Celina became so shocked...

" how can you say that?, they've been serving you for many years, and now you're saying they don't deserve a proper burial?. I don't even know you anymore, you've changed " Celina said then left. Devon didn't care, he just continued.

After taking all the bodies outside. He decided to take the bodies to the forest that was close by. He burned the bodies there.

" now nobody can revive you all, even if they try. The Devil can do it, but he won't " Devon said then laughed as her threw their ashes into the water.

He went home, and saw Celina crying her eyes out. He went to comfort her. Celina shift her body, to show that she doesn't want his hand touching her. Devon then sighed...

" what you said was right. I felt bad, so I gave them a proper burial " Devon said as he sat next to Celina. But she still didn't say anything.

" I can show you, if you want? " Devon said, then stood up and stretched his right hand for her to hold. Celina looked at his hand, then looked at him, before taking his hand.

Devon took her inside the forest, to a place where there was no tree, only stones were people's names were written.

Celina looked at each and every one of the stones. Everyone's names were there. Each name for a stone. And under those stones, there were bodies. This is what Celina had thought. But there was nothing under those stones. Celina became so happy and at the same time, sad. She hugged him, even though the feelings in which she use to have anytime she hugged him, were gone. She no longer felt it. Right now, she's even having doubts that this man is her husband.

That night, Celina a decided to sleep in his room, she's feeling lonely because she don't even know where Lizzy and Jake are.
