Morgana's eyebrows were twitching as Merlin hid behind her back with a trembling smile as she observed the happenings before her.
Salem watched it with a certain sense of fascination etched on her face as Cinder looked completely resigned, and Harriet with Luna, and Hermione looked at it with both wonder, curiosity and absolute fear.
And their reason for fear was justified as they observed Aegis who was in a staring contest with Death with capital D.
The two just looked at each other, with Aegis lip and eyebrow twitching and Death's gaze looking into both Aegis eyes and behind him at the souls that copied Merlin and hid behind Aegis back as they could feel that Death's gaze.
"Hello."
Said Death as she looked into Aegis eyes as she said something she heard mortals use when they met someone.

Aegis said as he didn't stop looking into Death's eyes that were filled with multiple things and at the same time stayed completely clear.

Cinder for her matter just facepalmed as she understood why Death did it, after all, it was Cinder who patted Death on the head and told her to be good, in truth the reason she did it was to try if Death just pretended to by clueless, but after seeing her confused face, Cinder understood that Death was completely airheaded.

Aegis muttered as the Death continued patting his head with even more ferocity as if she started to enjoy the act.

Death said as she continued her progress on understanding mortals and stoping her boredom.

Screamed one of the wizards as he fired the ultimate spell on the charging muggles, expecting for a quick death, but was met with surprise, no, all wizards were met with surprise as the green light that delivered death was absorbed into the muggle shield that for moment glowed with light.
"WHAT?!"

""AVADA KEDAVRA!""
Multiple wizards shouted again as they fired the same green spell, just to witness a repeat of the previous display.
"KILL THEM!"
"LORD IS ON OUR SIDE!"

The men screamed as they impaled one wizard with a sword that tore through the wizard's barrier spell, successfully piercing him.

The wizard asked with dying breath as the man in white chainmail armor and red cross ignored him and sliced the wizard's throat.
"R-retreat!"
Said one wizard and a moment after he uttered the words, there were multiple cracks as the wizards apparated away.
"Argghhh!"

"No! This is his will, I shall bear it myself! Take care of the children."
Said the man who took most of the deathly spells with his shield.
"Lord in heaven, hear my plea... For this sheep seeks your guidance..."
The man said with his last breath as his body fallen on the ground and then lighted up in golden flames as his corpse evaporated.

Whispered the men who looked at the body of their comrade who withstood the devil spawns most evil spell and continued to fight.

Said priest as he read the report from skirmishes between hordes of evil against the righteous warriors of faith.

The pope said with a serene expression as his body radiated a golden aura that made it seem as if a halo was above his head.

Said the priest with a fervent smile, finally, finally after centuries, now that magic was again rising from shadows, the blessings that protected humans against the hordes of evil are being awakened!

The girl said as she looked at the way she felt a cold presence in that direction.

Said animal above the girl's head.
