Ruby's
"Little piggy, little piggy, where are you hiding, little piggy..."
Said a man wearing a strange mask as he stalked bloodied halls that were covered with parts of mutilated bodies of humans...
"You can't run, little piggy, you can't hide... Not from meeee."
The man said as if he seemed to sense something and in the next instant, he was launched throughout the hallway with a deafening boom as something seemed to strike him into the chest, sending him away.
"Go go go! Find the survivors! Secure the anomaly!"
Said Sentinel Captain as he carefully made his way to the position, the masked man was launched, with his squadron of Sentinel's that were securing rooms and searching for any survivors in the building complex...
"RAAAARRR YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!"
Roared a distorted voice of the man that seemed to rush at the Sentinel's who readied their shields for the encounter.
"HOLD THE LINE!"
Screamed the Captain as he and his Sentinel's could feel enormous force crash into their shields that flickered with light from the sheer force of impact.
"GAAAH!"
Screamed one of Sentinel's that was grabbed by the masked man and threw through the walls as the Captain struck the masked man with his sword, piercing him.
"Gaakakkaa, you think this little toy would stop ME?!"
The masked man said with sheer venom as the Captain seemed to press some button on his sword.
"No, but this yes."
Said Captain as his sword seemed to ignite in flames that immediately devoured the masked man who started to scream in pain.
"GAAAGGGHHH!!! YOU FUCKING WORMS!"
The man screamed as he was entirely devoured by the flames that were created from fire dust crystals...
The Captain sighed in relief as the now masked corpse seemed to stay down, even as his paranoia didn't let him look away from the corpse of the anomaly...
Behind the Captain, some of Sentinel's seemed to escort five women and three men that seemed to be mentally unstable, not surprising as they lived through what could be said to by a horror experience, still a relief and happiness of surviving could be seen in their tired eyes...

Album looked at the report from the already tenth incident that seemed to have one thing in common, a supernatural force...
These incidents started after the rift dimensional portal activation, and after some thinking, Album and other's who investigated these incidents came to the same and most plausible conclusion, and that was that with opening the rift portal, they somehow thinned or weakened the barrier between the material and immaterial plane of existence and thus made it possible for some of these forces that seemed to be malicious in nature come and possess emotionally unstable individuals who were mentally weak to fight it off...
Thankfully, the Earth magical world had ample of experiences on how to combat these supernatural phenomena, and with Cinder's, Merlin's, Morgana's and Salems help, they were able to find a way to ward of their most important places first and then the others, unfortunately, the warding was complex and time-consuming activity, thus these incidents like this one could be seen...
At least the fire dust worked on these things as it was shown that Dust had magical capabilities, plus a fire that was from the ancient times biggest enemy of these evil spirits...
Album just sighed as she let the Sentinel's and the social workers take care of the mentally scared survivors...
Well, at least this wasn't playing in horror movie standard Album thought, as she looked at the reports from other incidents, as another common thing was that thanks to Solitas being entirely covered with little Sentinel bases in any village, settlement, or town, these beings could run rampant as Sentinel's normally immediately were at the site to put down any of these things with a fire...

"So, will you play, will you?"
Said the energetic looking girl as Aegis smiled, Aegis was glad to see Ruby being once again energetic after the death of her father and uncle, there was still a pain in her eyes, but at least now she was no longer a wreck, it had probably something to do with Raven standing up to her motherhood position, or the fact she still had her big sister Yang, or the matter of alternate team RWBY being there to take some of her pain away...
"Why not."
Aegis said with a smile as he stood up and came to the silver-eyed girl whose face showed a happy grin as he walked to her and patted her head.
From the said observing them was the older Ruby who was both happy and confused as she saw her younger self show such happiness to someone she herself never met, but from what she heard, her younger self was spending a lot of time with this Aegis Schnee, who was the big brother of her best friend and partner...
Still, the older Ruby lived through a lot of things in a short time, she was still the same Dolt as her Weiss said, but at least now she was experienced enough to know there was darkness in the world and the people, so to see her younger self acting so innocent and obvious made the older Ruby both happy and jealous as she herself lost that pure innocence when looking at the world...
"Will you come with us?!"
The older Ruby shook herself awake as she looked at her younger self looking at her pleadingly with these...
These...
"Oh my god, now I understand why nobody said no to me!"
The older Ruby said as she felt her resistance melt at the puppy-eyed look her younger self gave her...
That traitor! Wait, wasn't she a traitor? Who was a traitor? WHY WHY SHE USING HER OWN TECHNIQUE AGAINST HER!
The older Ruby shook in confusion as she noticed Aegis looking at her with an amused smile on his face that made older Ruby even more confused as she had the urge to bang her head against the wall...
The younger Ruby just continued using her ultimate weapons that her eyes were as she looked at her older self...
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! OK OK! I WILL! NOW STOP USING MY OWN WEAPON AGAISNT ME!"
The older Ruby screamed as the younger Ruby jumped in excitement.
"Yay! Team Ruby win once again!"
"Heh, heheheheee ahahahahaa!!"
The two Ruby's stoped what were they doing as they heard the amused, no almost happy laughter and looked at the man who was with them in the room who now seemed to bent downwards, supporting himself with his hand on his legs...
"AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!"
Aegis forgot any decorum as he laughed at the two girl's antics, and as he continued to laugh, her could feel his own laugh coming more and more naturally as if something invisible was leaving him as his laugh became more and more natural.
"HAHAHAHAAA!"
The Ruby's just looked with pink faces at the Aegis who always seemed to be distant or aloof, yet now they were witnessing his other side and couldn't help but blush at the pure emotion they could feel from him to radiate and from the face that was free of any worry as was laughing and smiling so warmly at them...
Weiss, both Weiss's, one came to speak with her Ruby, and another with her brother stopped in the doors as they looked at the red facet Ruby's and the laughing man who usually could be seen as serious...
Aegis himself didn't know why, but he continued laughing as he genuinely could feel his stress melt away...
