At the precise moment when the doctor says: "Congratulation miss, you are pregnant" there you feel that your whole world is about to change: in a single, tiny, moment.

Rachel stroked her belly looking out the window, while she tenderly watched her husband come home from work with a small bowl of ice cream in her hands: that instant took her back in time.

"At the St. James Theater, after many years, the musical Funny Girl, directed by Rupert Campion and Rachel Berry, returns to the stage," the loudspeaker proclaimed loudly throughout the city.

Rachel did the tests every day: she was unstoppable, even if in the last days she was always tired, she had nausea and was sometimes sensitive to smells, but nothing had made her think that she could be pregnant since, the symptoms she was manifesting, put them on the stress.

It was her big Broadway debut: everything had to be perfect, but on the day of dress rehearsal she felt the ground drop beneath her feet and passed out; worried, her colleagues immediately took her to the hospital.

All of her results were normal except for one: her Beta HCG was high, a figure that was indicative of pregnancy.

«Miss you are in the third month of pregnancy; her body has rebelled because in the last few days she has been subjected to an excessive amount of stress and she has not had adequate care, not for a woman in her condition, "the doctor said professionally in a harsh way; his tone changed immediately as he saw the astonishment print on Rachel's face.

"I ... I'm pregnant!" she said she was unconvinced more to herself than to the doctor.

"I'm the protagonist of the musical that will debut tomorrow on Broadway and I can't give up, not when I'm so close to achieving my dream" she almost whimpered she replied.

"I didn't say that at all, but she'll have to cut back on her schedule, she'll have to take care of her baby. You take these supplements for a few weeks. '

Rachel was upset, she didn't know what to do, she loved Finn more than her life and she wanted to start a family with him but… it all happened too quickly, sending her into a panic.

She was assailed by a thousand fears; luckily, her conversation with Quinn was enough to calm her down and help her get through that moment of shock.

"Oh my God Rachel! Best wishes!" she exclaimed joyfully as soon as she heard the news; however, feeling her friend's upset, she tried to stay close to her.

"I was very young when I got pregnant, but I can assure you that it was the best experience of my life. And when I held her in my arms for the first time, I felt like the luckiest woman in the world. My relationship with Puck wasn't the most romantic but he was the love of my life, even if I didn't know it at the time. You have to tell Finn and share this wonderful news with him. '

Tonight she was nervous but happy at the same time, it was time.

"I have to tell you something, but you have to promise me you won't go crazy," Rachel said, frightening him; he confirmed, however, with a nod of her head.

"It's not easy ... I don't know how to tell you ... I'm pregnant," she finally admitted, keeping her eyes down and playing nervously with her hands.

There was a moment of silence that seemed to last an eternity, until the tense atmosphere that had been created was muffled by Finn's cry of happiness.

Shortly after he stopped jumping around the house he gently placed a hand on her belly and kissed her softly.

Finn was experiencing his pregnancy well: he was the happiest man in the world but he often got saddened thinking of his father, bringing with him a sense of panic and disorientation that threw him into terror. It had not been easy to grow up without a father and when he was about to become one he could only be afraid of not being up to it.

He was too busy with the "particular times" Rachel was going through to worry about them for too long. Like any pregnant woman, she too had her mood swings: one moment she was happy, the next she was crying, one moment she wanted to eat a certain dish while the next she sucked.

Rachel had a peculiar character, not easy to understand, that her pregnancy had only amplified. Only a man like Finn knew how to treat her, pamper her, and take care of her.

Hi gleeks, another Finchel story, this time I'm struggling with a baby * _ *

I admit I want to see what would have happened, this is a short OS and I had to write within a certain number of characters otherwise it would have been longer, there would have been a lot to talk about, but ... but so I don't think it went really bad right? ;)

For this story there are so many people to thank: I want and I have to thank first of all my cousin Vivana for being the first to read it and give me the advice the story needed, then I thank my sister for giving me so many ideas, without she the story would not have been born because ... well, just talking about something else makes me come up with crazy ideas that I then can not help but put on paper. Finally, my thanks will go to you who I hope you take some time to read it and if sometimes let me know what you think, I really care .... <3
