The following morning, Greg awakened to find the two white wolves beside him, whom he named Ash and Shadow since Ash's fur was more of a volcanic ash color while Shadow's fur was more of a white with a shade of black.
When he awoke, he wondered why the system displayed data for the summoned General but not for him, so he inquired about it and was told that he had never asked to see his stats. He shook his head at what the system just said since he thought something like that should have been mentioned in the explanation the system gave or maybe he just didn't hear if she said it or not but he didn't want to sit here thinking about it for too long so he asked the system to display his stats
In front of him popped up a screen with a lot of information on it
Name: Greg (No House Name chosen)
Titles: Mercenary Leader
Capabilities:
-Advanced knowledge (Has the Mindset of modern-day Earth)
-Charming
-Leader
-Blessing (Being blessed by a goddess gives advanced skills)
Skills:
-Master Swordsman
-Damage Resistance
-Super Fast Healing (Wounds to this person are instantly healed and can restore lost limbs but too much damage taken will not save you)
-Quick Reflexes
-Hardened Body(Because of the health in your modern world your body is more durable and stronger than the people in this world)
Greg was glad that he still had skills from his world, such as a Master Swordsman, because he had often trained with a sword from a young age because he enjoyed sword fighting, and the quick reflexes and hardened body were due to the healthiness of the modern world and how people had access to advanced medicine and healthier food, which helped with body strengthen itself.
Greg stood up from his bed after scanning through the information and examined his physique, which had toned muscles that were neither too big nor too tiny for his body size, and he stood 6ft 5 with short black hair and a handsome face with Blue colored eyes.
He wanted to see how his powerful physique would handle fighting in this world after seeing it, so he invited one of the soldiers to have a practice bout with him, which he accepted after much persuasion.
Greg was now standing in a small clearing of trees that had been chopped down during the construction of their camp, and a Gondor soldier stood in front of him, ready to battle. After the soldier finished preparing, the practice match began with the soldier charging at Greg but being parried and pushed back, nearly falling into a tree.
When he realized how much stronger his body was compared to when he was on Earth, he realized that his foes would have no chance against him because even a simple parry might send a soldier flying. But he was also aware that there were people in this world who could be labeled monsters due to their strength, so he wouldn't go around believing he was better than everyone, since this may shorten his time here.
After a few minutes of fighting, Greg emerged victoriously, and the soldier was fatigued and on the ground, gasping for air, so Greg walked over and helped him up, earning the guy's respect.
After a brief conversation with the soldier, Greg proceeded to a little stream discovered by the troops the day before and had a quick wash, as he had not had one since he arrived in this world. He returned to the camp after his wash and proceeded to see Aleanna because he wanted to discuss something with her.
After meeting Aleanna at the camp, Greg informed her that they would be leaving for the city tomorrow to report to the Maester and participate in the city's defense, which, according to Greg's scouts, has 8,000 unsullied manning the walls, as well as some smaller mercenary companies, and that 2,000 more recently purchased unsullied would be arriving in two days to reinforce the city.
Greg didn't need to engage in the city's defense because there were already enough people guarding it, but he was determined to do so because the system would reward him for doing so, and he also wanted to see how the Dothraki looked in person and battle them.
After talking with Aleanna about various plans and whatnot, Greg spent the remainder of the day training with his sword, trying out new moves, and sparring with the troops, which greatly boosted their morale because their commander was so engaged with them.
Greg held another feast after the sun had gone totally down before they left for the city, which lasted a little longer than normal because the troops were well known with one another, so they sat up late drinking the beer Greg obtained from the system shop and eating the steak he had got.
After the feast, which lasted well into midnight, all of the troops went to sleep, while those who weren't too tipsy went to their posts to guard the camp, switching with someone who had had some sleep when it was time.
