Chapter 32

At Braavos the army leaders for both the Qohor army and the Norvos army were confused as to where was the army that conquered Braavos at. The entire city was just free for the taking. Some people in the city started saying that the army retreated once they saw them approaching the city.

Daeron Agareon who was the Leader for the Qohor army was a Valyrian descendant and a well known magister of the city. Hearing what the people of the city were saying, Daeron believed them since he heard that only a small army of 20k soldiers had taken Braavos so seeing the massive army of 90k soldiers must have made them run.

But little did he know the city which he called his home was just taken by the very army that took Braavos.

At Qohor a Dothraki Horde was approaching the city, Greg had already accepted his rewards for conquering Qohor which was

-20k System points

-4 Roman Legions

-1x General Summon

-1x Invincible Katana

Greg had asked the system if he could change the Katana to a Sword, which the system allowed it, so now instead of the invincible Katana it was an Invincible sword made out of Valyrian steel.

The 4 Roman Legions which were 24k soldiers were lined up in front of the city gate along with the other 23k soldiers.

The General Summon Greg used to summon was Germanicus Julius Caesar. The son of Drusus, Caesar followed in his father's footsteps, going on to become one of Rome's most celebrated Generals. He was appointed Commander of the Forces in Germanicus in 14 CE, following the death of Augustus. After quashing a rebellion among the eight legions he commanded, he marched to Teutoburg Forest, scene of a battle in 9 CE. There, he buried the bones of fallen Roman soldiers, before pursuing the Cherusci tribe, killing many in an act of vengeance.

In 16 CE, he proved his strategic ability again when he came up against a German alliance at the Battle of the Weser River, many thousands of German troops being killed compared to minor Roman losses.

Julius was at the front gate with his Roman Legion along with the other 20k soldiers which included 1k Elven Spearman, 1k Elven Archer, 16k Unsullied, and 4k Praetorian Guards.

There were some smaller forces like the Royal Spartan Guards and the 100 Targaryen knights that were stationed in the city.

In the distance, the Dothraki Horde had approached the city, with Khal Zekko leading the Horde. Khal Zekko periodically visits Qohor to receive a sack of gold, in return he doesn't sack the city.

As Khal Zekko rode in front of his Horde leading his people he saw an army lined up in front of Qohor something he has never seen before since the people of Qohor usually gives him his sack of gold but this time it seems that they will resist him.

Khal Zekko ordered his army to charge toward the line of soldiers. The Dothraki Horde numbered 60k soldiers and with their aggressive fighting style and non tactics they would be a problem for a normal army in Essos, but Greg had a very organized army and soldiers that were used to fighting barbarians who were also very aggressive.

The Elven Spearman were at the front with their shields, preparing to brace for battle with the Dothraki army. On the walls the Cannons were lined up ready to fire at the enemy once they got into range.

The Dothraki continued to charge, not showing any signs of slowing down. On the wall the Cannons were waiting for when the Dothraki crossed a certain point to which they can fire and after a while they got their wish.

50 Cannons fired from the wall into the Dothraki Horde, instantly killing a hundred of them. With Each volley, a little over a hundred Dothraki died. The Cannon had to adjust their aim to the middle of the Dothraki army since the front was nearly close to the Frontline, and they didn't want to shoot their own soldiers, so the Volley continued.

The Dothraki even with hit with a weapon they had never seen before continued to charge, not caring about their fallen brethren. They shot their arrows at the frontline, but they were blocked by the shields.

The Dothraki had soon clashed with the Front line, and just like in the movie Hobbit battle of the five armies the Elves used the maneuver that they used on the Dwarven cavalry, The frontline lowered their shields causing the cavalry to run on top of the shields and into the second line of the Unsullied who were armed with spears.

The Dothraki, who were in the front charging into battle, were met with spears after jumping over the frontline soldiers, and they were killed instantly.

The Elven Spearman then formed a Tortoise formation and the frontline was split into man squares of infantry while the unsullied did the same.

The Dothraki rode into the gaps of the line and deeper into the Spearman, but they were intercepted by spears. This tactic was an old Chinese military tactic. The soldiers which were in the square stabbed had soldiers behind them helping hold the frontline, so the formation won't break.

The Dothraki who has never seen this tactic before rode mindlessly into the middle of this formation, which resulted in thousands of them getting killed.

Some Dothraki jumped over the shields to try and break the formation, but were met with a spear to through their body.

But that wasn't all, as the Dothraki who went too far into the formation found themselves cut off as the soldiers moved around, blocking off all exits to the formation.

The Dothraki who were cut off quickly found themselves stabbed with a spear. The frontline was still being overrun by the Dothraki and would eventually collapse, so with a portion of the Dothraki army cut off and stuck in the middle of the formation, the second line soldiers assisted the frontline soldiers and pushed the Dothraki back, reforming the frontline.

The Dothraki stuck in the middle of the formation surrounded by soldiers found themselves surrounded as they tried to fight back, but they were suddenly stabbed by a spear from behind or to their side or in front of them, they were safe no where.

Thousands of Dothraki had already died, while less than 400 of Greg's soldiers had died.

General Julius had joined the soldiers in the front, pushing back the Dothraki. Khal Zekko who was also fighting had seen Julius and figured him to be the leader of this army, so he rushed towards him, killing a few soldiers along the way.

Once Khal Zekko was close to General Julius, he had looked to kill him, but General Julius without much effort had dodged Khal Zekko and instantly beheaded him, cutting off the Leadership for the Dothraki army.

But Khal Zekko's Blood riders and rode to avenge him and kill Julius, but they were blocked by soldiers who had spears and were knocked off their horses.

Once they got up, Julius was standing in front of them and ordered them to surrender as the rest of the Dothraki had either been killed or ran from the battle.

The Blood riders didn't care what happened to them and rushed at Julius, who cut them down, instantly killing them.

The Dothraki had retreated so the battle was won, all the soldiers had cheered for their victory and were glad they won the battle.

The Dead soldiers numbered 1,276 with 482 Injured with light wounds. The dead soldiers were given a proper burial, while the Dothraki bodies were burned to prevent any diseases spreading from all the dead bodies.

The army returned to the city to rest after a long battle, but not before they celebrate.
