Lina
I almost threw up at the sight of crushed face and a body less head that is in Eli's clutched fist. Its Jasen. I knew it was Jasen. Jasen's scent is all over it. And the smell is nauseating. The sight give me chills. The rusty smell of blood and Jasen's smell is mixed and lingering the air.
He slowly lift up the head and tilts his head up as if feeling the breeze and the sense of victory. He then let out a long howl. A howl of victory. A howl of certainty.
He is now the alpha of Jasen's pack. He killed their alpha. Every wolf and other white wolf, also the Lycanthropes bow their head at him. Heck everyone bowed their heads at him. Almost as if submitting to him. Their blood knows he is now a Royal. Their wolf knows he is now a King.
As soon as he finished his long powerful howl, his knees gave up making him fall on the ground.
"Elize!" I shouted running towards him.
What's wrong?! What happened to him?
As soon as I got near Elize's limp body. I saw the pool of blood going out of the gash of wound Jasen gave to him.
Why is it not healing?! It should be healing by now!!
"Wolfsbane. Jasen's claws must be dipped in wolfsbane o-or I don't know some substance. But it didn't harm Jasen because its not in an open wound but its definitely in the way of Eli's healing process. We need to take him to the pack house to stop the bleeding and to burn the wolfsbane or whatever shit that's in Jasen's claws."
I saw Cee quickly ordering the male wolves to carry Eli inside.
"Cee, is-is he going to be okay? Wh-what if its not a wolfsbane?"
I asked her while chewing my finger nails. Constantly running my hands on my hair because of frustration.
"I don't know Isla. The wolfsbane or whatever the heck this is preventing his wolf to heal him. The gash is so deep. But I will do my best. Go outside, I know you need to be with Eli but your wolves need you. You're a Luna."
She said giving me encouragement. She's right, they need me. And I need to believe in Eli.
I gave her a tight smile, a weak tight smile and rushed outside. With a shakily legs and a shaky voice, I began to talk.
"Hear me everybody."
I started making them stop what they're doing and listen to me. My voice bounces to the trees. Making a creepy echoed sound.
White wolves, some lycans, and other wolves on Jasen's pack are here, looking intently on what was I going to do.
"I know we encounter different problems. But I know that you feel in your blood and your wolf that we.. Elize and me are your King and Queen. Moon Goddess picked us. And we might have different beliefs I need you to cooperate this time. Your King Elize is on the brink of death."
I almost let a tear slide. But with a shaky sigh, I continued.
"I need you to help one another. Gather as many pack doctor as you can. Let them heal the injured ones."
And with that I turned my back around.
Its been a day, after all of that happened. All I can think about is Eli. How's Eli? What happened to Eli? I miss Eli. I haven't seen him since. They said he is still in state of slow recovery.
They say a mate's wolf can heal the other one by staying beside them. Maybe I should do that.
I slowly walked to the hallway and stopped on the edge. I saw the pack doctor ordering the two guards to never let anyone in as he is still recovering and fragile.
How am I going to get in?!
"U-uhrm... Excuse me? Is this Elize's room?"
The gruff guard didn't even nod. No reply.
Well there's no harm in communicating, try it buddy.
Suddenly I thought about a brilliant idea. I once again walked at the edge of the hallways where there was left and right and began screaming.
Screaming like there's someone attacking me.
I heard the shuffling sounds of the guards as they quickly run to where I am.
The moment I saw them run, I took the other route to make it to Eli's room.
I'm so genius!
I slowly turned the lock of the door silently praying it is not locked. Good.
Opening the door. I saw a figure sleeping with dextrose and some kind of drips connected in his body.
It was Argus. This is not Eli's room I entered. Its Argus's.
His skin is pale and his lips is a bit whiter than it was back then.
"Oh Argus" I remembered now. How he took the wolfsbane shot instead of me. He saved me. But then again, they all did.
I needed to go to Eli now before the guard noticed something.
I quickly placed a kiss on his forehead. And slowly goes out of the room.
I saw another door similar to Nathan's door and took my chance to open it.
As I opened it. Eli's smell filled up my nose. With a hint of disinfectant and hospital smell. But his smell overwhelmed me.
I almost run inside but remembered to be quiet. I slowly tipped toe inside and lock the door. I don't want any interruptions.
I saw him. His topless bandaged body. His once smooth and tan skin is now pale and dry. The white bandage is slightly stained with blood slowly seeping from the inside. The IV drips through the hollow tube that is connected by his nose. He has this cup thing in his mouth to help him breath. The beep of the life meter is making me crazy.
I'm afraid... I'm afraid that.. That the beep will stop.. That his heart beat will stop..
