Great Elder Rosa turned to look at Viora and could tell from her face that it was the truth.

Rex was telling the truth.

For some reason, Viora was the one who approached him.

But that doesn't make sense since Rex and Viora did not have a history, even Rex confessed that today was their first time meeting. Something was odd here but Rex gave her no time to think, "Priestess Viora, regardless of our situation, do you want to help me?"

"Y- Yes…" Viora answered whisperingly, avoiding Great Elder Rosa's gaze.

"I have no bad intention, I don't threaten her to do anything, and she still wanted to help me," Rex repeated—forcing Great Elder Rosa to focus on him—again. "Do you still want to believe that I'm a bad person? Someone who could threaten you and your house?"

At that moment, Great Elder Rosa didn't understand what was going on.

But Rex already painted the narrative clearly.
