That night the Lewis residence seemed very quiet, even though dinner had just ended. But no more Lewis family maids were hanging around, even if they were tidying up some porcelain or having a light conversation.

Since John and Ella's departure, the mansion looked gloomy and looked more like a mystery house.

Beatrix was quite tired that day with all her work piled up. She had to make sure the workers finished their job properly before going home and leaving the Lewis residence.

"Ahhhh..! So tired,"

Beatrix's breath was heavy. She realized she wasn't as strong as she used to be. Beatrix, already in her white pajamas, sat on the side of her bed and looked at a small photographic figure sitting on the lamp table.

Beatrix looked at the picture with a slight smile. A memory of her former husband made her feel even more homesick.
