Abigail Meets Ella

William was still standing beside Ella. He didn't want to leave Ella too long with Edward Huxley. The man was as dangerous as Alfred Lewis – he thought.

Ella drank her water slowly. At least it could reduce the pain in her head.

"Ella, are you sick? I'm sorry I was so selfish earlier." Edward was calmer and regretted that he was about to fight with William.

"Edward Huxley, listen carefully to my explanation." Ella had already opened her voice to speak, and her eyes fixed on him.

Edward noticed that there was something different about Ella's gaze, like he was staring at a stranger he didn't know.

"The last thing I remember about you is how you punished me because I walked into your room by accident. Even though, I explained that Rose asked me to make tea for you. Do you remember?" Ella asked, but Edward frowned.
