Jefford entered his classroom with a gloomy face. It had been almost a week he had not attended school. His father – Edward Huxley, sentenced him to one week of confinement at home.

His father would also threaten to send Jefford to a  boarding school would be a great alternative to control his forgotten son's actions and be overly diplomatic.

Jefford tried to ignore the voices behind him. They were only whispers,  but he could still hear quite clearly because when he stepped into the classroom, there was silence, and all eyes were on him.

"I heard he ran away from his house. Huh... it's a pity."

"Why didn't he change schools anyway? He's smart but too arrogant. I don't like him,"

"It's better if he's not in our class. Why a week goes by too fast."

Jefford pounded his desk hard. His hands shaking from the anger he was holding back. Arthur, who was sitting quite a distance beside him, stared in horror.
