Stirrings

~Monoma's Point of View~

The girl quickly engaged battle with the explosive boy form 1-A and won. And I had to say I was impressed. I looked at Shinso who was staring at the girl.

"She's strong. Really strong. She'd be a great addition to either class. But whichever is the strongest, will probably go to 1-A." He said covering half of his face with Aizawa's binding cloth.

"Hmm, you seem to like her." I teased.

His eyes shot from me and back to the girl.

"I don't blame you. She's illegally pretty. Prettier than Momo." I said, hoping to get on his good side.

He nodded. It was interesting to see his response to such a personal question.

I looked at her (H/L) (H/C) hair. Her (E/C) eyes.

This was a beautiful girl. She had wide hips and a big chest. I felt myself turn pink when I realized I was staring.

Did I just fall in love with a student from my rival class?

~(F/N) Point of View~

I sat on the ground next to Jirou and Toru as we watched the final match between the two classes. Match four was the only match 1-B had won. Class 1-A had taken all the other wins.

You watched as the cameras flashed three of the four of them walking and discussing the plan. While the third, Izuku, was traveling above. His quirk ignited blue electricity around him. It was interesting.

"Midoriya's one of the top three strongest in our class." Hagakure said pointing. I could only see her glove but I got the point.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?! DEKU IS NOT ONE OF THE STRONGEST!" Bakugou shouted, eavesdropping on our conversation.

"And you are?" I mumbled underneath my breath looking away from him.

Toru and Jiro snorted and covered their mouths. Bakugou's eyes widened and looked at me.

"What did you say you?" He snarled getting closer. We all stood up and I cocked an eyebrow.

"I didn't say anything that was for you to hear." I said turning my back to him.

"Why you-"

I ignored him and walked over to Kirishima who was talking to Kaminari.

"Hey," You greeted. They both turned to look at me. I jerked my thumb in Bakugou's direction. "Was Bakugou always such a firecracker? Every little thing sets him off."

Kaminari grinned and Kirishima chuckled.

"Since the first day. Always talking about he's gonna become stronger than All Might."

That made me choke out a laugh.

"Then he's gonna have to be better than me. Seeing as though how I already took him down in out first battle, things aren't looking too good for him."

Sero came over, hearing our conversation.

"He's gonna have to get better than you? Do you wanna be better than All Might?"

I looked thoughtfully up at the sky.

"Yes and no." They cocked their heads at me, confused. "It's not that I wanna be better, I want to do the things that they couldn't. I love fighting and battle. Even before I got my quirk, I always had love fighting. I wanted to grow up and become a hero that takes all her opponents down. After I got my quirk, I saw that my dream was possible."

I looked down at my hands, thinking bitterly about that day.

"I wanna be a hero who fights to save what matters." I looked up and smiled. "That's all really. I always protect what matters."

Silence rushed across the clearing and I looked around to see everyone staring at me.

"AHHH! I DIDN'T MEAN TO BE SO LOUD!" I said covering my eyes.

A few students laughed and went back to their conversation, but I still felt some stares I felt my cheeks turn to a embarrassed pink.

I hand patted my back. I turned to see All Might himself.

"That was a very interesting speech, Young (L/N). It made me see something in you. Let me get to know a lot more about you. I'm sure you'll make a fine hero." He smiled kindly.

My memory flashed to the accident.

Crumbling ground, fire was everywhere. Mom pushed me away from the cliff.

"RUN (F/N)! RUN!"

The memory flashed in my eyes and I saw white.

I woke up in a hospital and a doctor stood in front of me.

"I'm so sorry (F/N) . . . ."

The memory faded and I lurched away from All Mights touch.

They looked at me in confusion as I backed away.

"Sorry, I need to, um , bathroom. Be right back." You whipped around and almost ran right into Todoroki.

"Oh! Sorry." You flashed a quick fake smile and ran past Aizawa-sensei calling "Bathroom, be right back!"

You ran into the building and the girls bathroom where you locked yourself in a stall. You stood there, head leaning against the door breathing hard.

Not these memories again. They're gone. There's nothing you can do. You're weak and that's why you couldn't save them.

Screams echoed in my head but eventually faded.

I took a big deep breath and reopened the door. You looked in the mirror and saw someone you didn't recognize. Someone in a hero costume.

"I look like a kid playing dress up." I chuckled dryly into the mirror and sighed.

You stepped out of the bathroom and walked as slow as you could back to the clearing.

The voices in your head were gone and you could breathe again.

"(F/N)!" You return to see that you had missed the entire battle.

Aizawa-sensei was drilling the students about their combat experience from this and dismissed them.

Aizawa-sensei approached you and placed a gentle hand on your head.

"You okay now?" He whispered quietly.

I looked at him confused.

"I read your file." He said.

I stiffened.

"It's okay. I know, it's hard." He patted my head and walked forward to address the classes.

You smiled to yourself, glad he understood and rejoined the class.

"There you are (F/N)!" Izuku called from his group with Uraraka, and Iida.

"Oh, hey Midoriya." You said joining them.

He pulled out a notebook and smiled bashfully at me.

"I didn't really have anytime to ask you questions about your quirk since . . ." He trailed off, he eyes glancing down at my legs.

I stomped one and smiled,

"Feeling better already. What do ya got?" You ask.

Suddenly, Midoriya blast about a thousand questions at once, before you have anytime to process what he said, he looks at you expectantly for an answer.

Bakugou came over and wacked Midoriya over the head.

"She couldn't understand you. Talk slower you moron."

Midoriya rubbed his head and smiled.

"Your right Kacchan. Sorry. Let me go slower. How do you control your quirk. What do you do to activate it?" He asks.

I grinned and held out my arms.

"As you know, quirks are physical abilities. They can't just work forever like a device. But my quirk, requires a large amount of physical energy." I flexed my muscles. "Because of that, I just need to be really strong. I have large amounts of stamina and energy as a regular person already, but when I take energy drinks or caffeine, it boost my stamina, giving me a greater range of my powers, and a longer use of them."

I smiled at he muttered to himself scribbling in his notebook.

Uraraka smiled embarrassed and rubbed the back of her head.

"He always does this."

"It's fine. I love to find someone is is as determined as I am to become a great hero. Taking notes may not sound heroic, but it plays a big part."

Midoriya blushed as he was writing and paused.

"What's your hero name?" He asked looking up.

I paused and coyly scratched my cheek.

"Yeah, I actually didn't think I would get into UA after I missed the entrance exam, so I didn't have enough time to figure it out."

"You wanted to become a hero and didn't think if a name before hand?" Bakugou asked snatching Midoriya's notebook and read through it.

Midoriya whimpered, clearly wanting it back. Iida stuck his hand out like he was chopping something and motioned form Bakugou to Midoriya.

"Bakugou, give him his notes back." Bakugou ignored him, still scanning the notes Midoriya took on me.

"Look, I didn't think they would take in student's after the exams okay? So I gave up on it. I didn't think of a name beforehand, because I really couldn't think of anything that matched my power." I swiped the book from Bakugou and handed it back to Midoriya.

Midoriya smiled gratefully and took his book.

"Who do you think you are?" Bakugou said shoving up to me. I placed a hand on his chest and paused. His heart was pounding furiously in his chest. I shook my head and pushed him away from me.

"A friend. An enemy. An ally. Or," I pet his head. "Your hero."

He slapped my hand away and growled.

"Definitely not the last one."

I shrug at Iida and Uraraka.

"Has he always been such a child?"

Midoriya winced as Bakugou grabbed my sleeve.

"I will show you that I am more of a hero than you'll ever be." He said pulling me to face him. I smiled.

"I look forward to it."

"(L/N), could you come here for a second?" Aizawa-sensei called from his spot over by All Might and Vlad King.

Bakugou let go and I waved to the group.

I approached the teachers and smiled.

"Whaddya need?" I asked.

"I just have a quick question." Aizawa-sensei asked.

"Shoot."

He looked at All Might and Vlad Kind before turning back to me.

"Who's Netsui?"

That did it.

My brain snapped, the cells stopping and time for me seemed to stop. My brain showed me things I had buried deep down.

Blood, rocks, water, knifes, swords, fire, Netsui . . . . a face. One you've never seen in person, but recognizable. Fear struck your heart. Oh no.

You were coming back to your conscious and looked up to see Aizawa-sensei holding you up.

"She's okay." He said to All Might and Vlad King.

"(L/N) can you hear me?" He asked.

Your vision cleared and you could breathe again. You were fine.

"Call me (F/N)." I said sitting up. I rubbed my head and looked at Aizawa-sensei.

"Good, your okay. So the name came up in your files, and all your family is deceased." He said gently.

I flinched.

"But he wasn't marked as deceased." He went on.

My heart stopped.

"I looked into it just now. Your older brother is still alive."

I got up quick and laughed.

"Yeah no. He died right in front of me. That isn't something that can be easily removed from my mind no matter how hard the doctors tried. I was at the funeral. We buried him. It is impossible for him to be alive."

I walked away.

"But if there was even the slightest possibility that he could be alive, I would be dead."

Aizawa-sensei looked at me as I walked off and sighed.

~All Might's Point of View~

"What'd she say?" I asked Aizawa after he returned.

"She doesn't believe me." He sighed.

"Course she doesn't" Vlad said crossing her arms. "She needs proof and the courage to believe someone she saw die is really alive. I sure as heck wouldn't believe you if all you told me was a bunch of files say he's not dead."

That sparked an idea.

"Okay, then make her see reason. If Netsui really did die, why would a bunch of files lie and say he isn't? Why would someone fake their death in an accident like that? And why would he be dead, when he's the one who caused the accident in the first place?"

Aizawa and Vlad looked at me.

"Well, there's not much we can do. Our job is to teach these students. But if her past is really linked to All for One," Aizawa sighed. "Then we need to find out as much as possible."

"Are you talking about that gorgeous new student?" A voice behind me asked.

I turned to see Midnight walking up.

"Hey." Vlad King said.

"Yes we're talking about (F/N)." Aizawa said. He looked out into the clearing where (F/N) was talking to Young Midoriya. It'd be good for him to communicate with someone like her.

I just hope he can keep her safe.
