At the beginning i didn't really like it much but after a while it got a lot better. the cooking's really detailed the characters personality doesn't seem to be one dimensional the mc at the beginning was a bit of a turn off but his attitude is a lot better than the start of the novel good novel to read really reccommend till you reach about 40 - 50 ch to see if you like it or not

It's a Food wars fanfic but the only that says it's a food wars fanfic is the foodgasm literally everything else is just oc characters the author made like they don't even talk about the original characters
this story in my opinion is good while its in its early stages right now its taking things slow to show the mc background in the world and how he will move forward going on. So i say give this a read definatly.
