Confidence or Arrogance?

I stared off into space as I remembered what happened after my spirit was awoken...

Standing in place I clenched my fist and felt the power coursing through my body, it felt as natural as when I was in my dragon form only weaker. If I had to give an estimation I'd have to say 30%. Not bad for a human I guess, only to frown when I felt the power affecting my mind.....I felt so detached.... so apathetic!

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard someone clearing their throat, releasing the transformation I felt my mind clearing and returning to normal. I raised my head and watched Su Yuntao try to regain his calm causing me to chuckle internally, but I just stared at him calmly on the surface

" would you like to join Spirit Hall " he asked me excitedly before he coughed and tried to look like an expert

Hearing his question, I pondered over this question for the first time since I came to this world

I mean they are really no benefits for joining any power considering my cultivation is always rising since my domain is always active and if I did cultivate intentionally it was even faster.

So I could reach and surpass god by just breathing ... so the only thing they could provide temporary protection since I'm currently weak and it's not like they can tell I'm not human, since I've learned to literally devour the evidence otherwise. That took a lot of practice and I'm proud I did it.....

Money? I'm a walking spirit energy mine, I could legit open a restaurant for spirit masters, Power? that's a working progress, so nothing if I'm being honest...well other than women. So the better question would be who has the more beautiful women....

' We have Shrek, who has Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing, each beauties in their own rights and you'd have to be gay not to like them

Then we have Spirit Hall, we have the one and only Bibi Dong, Hu Liena and Qian Renxue, equally as beautiful as the main females, others would say they're even more beautiful

Well I say this like I won't try for all of them but to be more specific it's who I'm gonna go for first' I thought with a chuckle

" hmm, can I join in a few months? if not I'll have to say no " after thinking for a while I decided to go after Xiao Wu first depending on his answer

When he heard my question his expression was stagnant before he started to frown as if he didn't expect my answer. It seems neither did the crowd as they started murmuring

Ignoring their comments I waited for his answer as I watched him communicate with the other spirit hall members there before what like he was asking for permission from his boss, for a while before I started growing impatient and turned around and started leaving making everyone freeze when I heard him call out to me and I slowed my steps

" you have to report to the Spirit temple in six months, I don't need to tell you what would happen if you don't " the hall drop a few degrees as his killing intent filled words filled the area

When I heard him my footsteps stopped, turning my head I glanced at him and the others who were also looking at me and frowning over my shoulder before I started laughing as I turned and continued to leave

" trash who can't even become a Spirit Ancestor in his lifetime dares to talk so big " the only thing that was left was my disdained filled words as my back disappeared

Raising my eyebrow in surprise at the changed attributes only to pause as a flow of information started entering my mind. Closing my eyes I started to process the new information only to find a large smile forming on my face

' so it seems that every time I gain a new ring I comprehend a new domain instead of a spirit skill. Not only that I can absorb spirit power and increase the current age of my rings to reach my original forms age ' as in my current ring can reach 2000 years I thought with a smirk

Closing my eyes to concentrate I tried releasing my new domain, only to feel a pressure on my devouring domain before it was suppressed and my spirit power started draining at a extreme rate causing my face to grow pale as a sudden weakness overcame my body making me release the second domain

" ha ha " I tried to catch my breath as I felt my domain drawing spirit power back into my body at a rapid rate, replenishing my lost stores

' so don't overlap 2 domains when you're not strong enough, noted ' I thought with a wry smile, shaking off those thoughts I stopped releasing my devouring domain after and tried once more

I found that after releasing the new domain, it was more taxing on my mind and spirit power and didn't feel as natural causing me to frown before I realized

'this is my first spirit skill in my human form and my original body is my dragon form so of course it seems foreign to me '

I lead the purification power through my body only to feel a slight pressure before it was disappeared and I felt much more comfortable and found that spirit power flowed at a much faster rate making me realize how limited my thinking was since I was thinking about just purifying poison

When I was about to continue I heard Jack calling for me, only then did I realize how much time I was meditating, when I was about to reply a terrible scent assailed my nose causing me wretch as I opened my eyes to find the source only to find my body covered in a black goop like substance making me remember the knowledge in my mind

' impurity removal ' interesting I thought as I purified then devoured the impurities on instinct slightly improving my spirit power

' So I was over thinking it ' I thought as my control over the new domain reached a new height after I started using my instincts instead of my mind

Stretching my legs I got out of the carriage, I stopped and looked at what should be Nuoding Academy
