(Chapter 125) The Operation Begins

Zenith woke up in the morning naked. She felt the warmth beside her, and started to get out of bed.

Putting on some flexible but also comfortable clothes, she then started to get to work. She was the computer specialist in the team, so hacking public cameras was simple for someone like her.

After gaining control to the cameras, she tried to look through previous footage, but found it was all destroyed and untraceable. A shame, but it was to be expected.

"Alpha, Bravo, Charlie. Boss have you got a copy?" Zenith checked the comms before the mission begun.

Brad heard Zenith's voice in his ear. "Loud and clear Z, G prepare for mission commence." Brad said as he sorted out his outfit on the street. Something quite normal in the eyes of the early workers.

"Roger, mission commence." Gareth half announced, half repeated. A way he acted whenever a mission begun.

And so, the five got to the start of their missions. Brad fit into the crowd as a winter tourist with his camera and English look. Something common to see in Russia as the place was big, so tourists often started early to see as much as they could.

Brad just some photos of landmarks, a few markets and buildings. And even visited a museum. All to keep his cover.

But his movement was smart and concise, he always stayed in view of Zenith on the cameras. As they were their greatest weapon and defense tool, they should use them.

Meanwhile, Ryan took his time traveling to the docks. The boats were all in port in the early morning, and sailors could be seen left and right.

"New recruit?" One of the men wearing the navy outfit asked in Russia.

"Yes... Yes sir! Ryan spoke in Russian back. What use would he be as a spy if he couldn't speak the language they were in?

As Ryan infiltrated the navy, Editt began to integrate with the locals. Giving them food from his home country. England, along with other treats.

The locals in the area were quite happy to receive the free food, Editt had set up a food stand in the city. And quickly became quite popular for the free and good food.

When a person had a good impression of you, they can become defenseless. Editt used that to his advantage to ask questions that seemed quite innocent, like a traveling tourist's. But if someone knew the reason behind his questions, they wouldn't dare answer.

Gareth meanwhile, worked at setting up communication lines with known criminals in the area. Since he could pass the sight test himself, those criminals could start to give information for the right payment...

Zenith watched all their actions and monitored the ships closely, she might seem to just be a beautiful woman on the outside, but inside was a computer genius...

She worked the cameras quickly and efficiently, while also collecting information through some other means online, simple things that could help narrow their search.

Something that caught her eye was a business deal that had fallen through. The company was the largest in Russia and dealt with oil and any sea trade. It dominated the markets and stocks in the country. And was coincidentally a business that the Yuke family had control over.

So why and how was the richest company in the country collapsing multi-billion deals? She felt this was important information and decided to look more into it.

"Ah, I was right." Zenith mumbled, she was lead to the recent decline in share price for the Yuke's business. Although the share price was still high. The amount of money and reputation the business had lost was unmeasurable.

She felt it was strange. There was no documented or released reason on why the shares had started to drop. She then looked into the documents of MI6 available to her.

"A lose of 2 factories a month. The quality per month isn't a lot. But the impact is there." She was amazed at the connection she found. Some factories deep within the heartland of Russia and even in Scandinavia had either been closed down due to unknown reasons. Or have been targeted attacks of terrorism.

But this terrorism seemed to be targeted against the Yuke family. So Zenith found it quite legal in her mind. As she took a sip of her coffee, she smiled to herself and praised herself.

Not many people had her qualities, and she knew that. So she ended up having a large ego. Especially around other women in the other squads. Who often were just used for communication and seducing men.

Sure, she could do that. Even better than they could. But she also was a computer expert, and good at disguise. She took some of her makeup and faced her vanity mirror.

"Heading out now, the alarms are ready and targeted for any emergency." She reported into her earpiece. As Zenith had lost her black hair. And now turned into a woman with dirty blonde hair, matching some of the hair colors in the local area.

Zenith had less ground to cover due to her computer operations, but she also needed to cover enough space to give her other teammates the security of having multiple eyes on.

Zenith went to a boutique store and started to chat up some of the males who would talk. Beauty was a powerful weapon, and she knew how to use hers.

Brad had heard over some locals talking about a tinted car that was driving around a few days ago. He was now sure Jukovic was in the area.

Having tinted windows was only reserved for the Yuke family and a few other business families in the country. So it was pretty much confirmed to him that Jukovic had been in the area he was in recently.

Brad then looked into his notebook full of tourist guide spots. Of course, the book was modified so he could have a personal map of the area inside.

"I've been here, here, and here. What's next." He mumbled to himself like an actual tourist, his persona was very convincing.

But if someone could see what Brad was circling in his notebook, they would be able to see the circles that he had drew on the streets. And the only place not covered was a spot where Zenith, Brad and Gareth all intercepted.

'Mm, I'll keep it quiet for now.' Brad knew that it could just be false information he was given, and that it was still important for his other squad members to complete their missions.
