(Chapter 128) The Informant Calls

Brad woke up and got out the hotel he stayed, he had managed to get some more information from the woman while she was drunk.

Although she was decently good-looking and also had no restraint, he only drank with her until she passed out. The reason being, he had no interest in those sorts of things.

He was on a mission, he was professional, and wouldn't let his male anatomy take control of his brain.

So after leaving with a fresh mindset he started to roam the bars in the early mornings, luckily for him. Local sailors and working women were still around, enough for him to get some information from.

"The captain said we would be doing more training today, eugh. I can't stand it." As Brad settled himself down for a few hours, he had heard many conversations.

"More training? Aren't we well trained enough as it is? We passed the requirements easily yet he still sees us as stupid new recruits?" But Brad knew this job required patience. And he eventually struck upon an interesting conversation.

"I know right? I don't understand! All the need to do is patrol the surrounding area and make sure no illegal fishing is taking place. It's almost like we are being prepared for something." The half-drunken sailor spoke bitterly.

"Prepared? What for? Making sure the rare pirates don't get in our way? But they wouldn't be able to match up with a battleship." The other man couldn't understand.

Brad felt this conversation was very interesting. Not only was he hearing that the local sailors were doing more training, possibly meaning combat or only just standard procedure. But he also learned that the sailors didn't seem to be on the Captain's side, meaning the crew were split. So something must be going on at the ship...

But all the information could just be worthless to him. So Brad decided to let the man who had infiltrated the navy to report to him first, before he made any concrete plans...

Around Lunchtime and there was little reason in a bar anymore. So Brad got out and went to a local restaurant, but he got no luck. Only good food.

The rest of the day was full of bad luck for Brad. But it was part of collecting information, he might not get anything at all... And in the mission he was doing, it would be easier to get information at night anyway.

As Brad was walking to a different bar than what he went to last night. His phone vibrated subtly.

He was confused, but didn't show it on his face. He was sure he put it on silent...

He took out his phone and saw a strange number calling him. In fact, he couldn't even call it a number. It seemed to be encrypted with letters and numbers.

Brad kept his cool and passed of as a businessman taking a call. Some of the women nearby saw the handsome man wearing a suit taking a call. And some had decided their prey already.

Brad leaned against the wall of the bar and took the call. Not speaking for a few seconds.

"Speak whatever language would be comfortable for you Young Master Bagna." The voice on the call was robotic, and full of static.

Brad could now decipher the person on the phone, it must be the informant that regularly contacted him...

"That's fine, what else have you found?" Brad spoke in English. Making it seem to anyone who could understand the language, that he was just on a business call.

"I found something interesting Young Master. I heard from a fairy that Jukovic boarded the last train on his way to Moscow. He has connections across the train line and it would be difficult to catch up to him on a moving train. But, I heard that in a few days, he will be back in St. Petersburg to go back on board a particular ship and sail the seven seas." Brad's blood went ice cold listening to the informant.

"A fairy huh? I guess you could call electricity a fairy." Brad chuckled, as he showed his interest in the information.

"He plans to blow up a few targeted naval bases on the coast of the Atlantic, I will send the information to your hacker agent later. Just be prepared for some hustle." The static voice gave Brad the thought that this informant really did seem to be robotic, he certainly never gave them any hints on their identity before.

"I know, I will be quick to come back, make sure to continue making the deal." Brad showed a slightly irritated mood before hanging up.

In the eyes of those working women. Brad seemed to be a perfect prey right now, especially when he seemed to lose his cool... Maybe they could catch themselves a big fish?

....

Astrid woke up with Lewis beside her, something she had gotten far too used to by now.

"I don't know how I would sleep without you." Astrid muttered, as she reached over to kiss Lewis's forehead.

The light kiss ended up being a lot more. As Astrid suddenly felt her body be swept up. And Lewis hanging over her looking down at her face.

'Wow, he was so quick... Is that him when he is starved? We will have some fun soon...' Astrid could imagine many naughty things already, seeing the fire being lit in Lewis's eyes.

"Morning babe, you slept well." Lewis said as he dropped his lips onto hers.

Astrid smiled in response. "Of course I did. Don't you have some important work to do today. Hmm?" Astrid could feel a very particular feeling coming from Lewis. And she could only gloat the fact she could tease him so.

Lewis groaned, as Astrid teased him with her smile, words, and subtle actions...

"Behave." Lewis lowered his head and nibbled Astrid's earlobe.

Astrid huffed hot air all over Lewis's mouth. "How can I when you are in your condition? I guess I now understand what they mean when they say. 'You taste it once, and you can't go back.'" Astrid grinned. In praise of herself, and teasing the man who only had one thing on his mind now.
