(Chapter 135) Who Is The Host?

"Hey, did you see what that actress was wearing mother?" The time for the banquet came around, and people were arriving in droves.

One family was the Diter family, Leah had dressed herself up for the banquet and begged to come since she heard from one of her friends that Lewis would be attending later in the banquet. Because her father believed that the two were close and that this banquet was related to the Guilliano family, he decided to let her come along with his wife.

"Hmm? Do you want that? Looking at the design I have never seen something like that before... But it truly is beautiful." Mrs. Diter responded while looking in the direction of the actress in question.

That actress was Francesca, who currently was talking with another very important guest.

"You have been training well Francesca... Your movies have been very enjoyable to watch." Mrs. Tuhs said with a light smile. While having a sip of the drink in her hand.

"Thank you... I didn't think you would be here so early... Even Mr. Tuhs is here... Is this Astrid's plan?" Francesca asked in a low voice. She thought it was strange, having everyone arrive at different times and then mingle with the crowd. She thought the reason of this banquet was to reveal her identity...

Mrs. Tuhs inwardly thought it was strange as well, but she said nothing and only smiled in response.

Francesca sighed and had a quick look around the hall. 'Damn, is she really going to arrive last? Isn't she the host of this banquet?'

Indeed, the host of the banquet hadn't arrived yet. But that was no issue, mainly because most of the guests were preoccupied with other business partners.

Then the crowd suddenly quietened down a little. As the closed doors opened to more guests...

"It's Lewis Guilliano." One of the guests whispered from amazement, as Lewis walked in wearing a custom black suit.

His attire seemed so simple, but everyone in the room had good eyes, and could see how expensive the suit probably was. Including being personally customized to his size, he also had a small red mark on his blazer. But no one could tell what it was...

"Wait! Isn't that the Old Master behind him?" A female voice called out. As people started to focus on the other three coming in behind him.

Leone was dressed in a dashing navy suit, but seemed to be a little unfocused. While a middle-aged woman walked alongside him wearing a classic white gown. One with elegance, but not with gaudiness.

And then the Old Master Guilliano walked behind with a similar suit to Lewis, except he didn't have the red mark on his blazer. Instead, he seemed to be looking attentively at the crowd with narrowed eyes.

"He doesn't lose his aura even in old age huh?" One of the guests muttered, in which the people who heard him just nodded in silence.

"Alright then ladies and gentlemen! With the arrival of these guests, we are close to starting!" The large hall had been set up with a stage for announcements. Something the guests were baffled by, considering that they still weren't sure on the reason this 'banquet' was held for.

The female host was dressed in a lime green suit and had short but also styled hair. Most guests thought it was eccentric and also a little rude to appear like this at a banquet. But after hearing on how well the host was treating guests they didn't comment on the host any longer.

Lewis looked around the hall and took a drink. Also giving a drink to his mother and grandfather.

"Uh, bro? Where is mine?" Leone asked in confusion. His entire family had a drink but him...

"Oh, your girlfriend should have one for you." Lewis nonchalantly said. Causing both his mother and grandfather to cough simultaneously.

*Cough Cough* "Girlfriend!? Who is it Leone? She must be here right?" Mrs. Guilliano asked with a subtle excitement in her voice.

With Leone being stared at by his mother and grandfather, he had to give in. "Hang on hang on, I'll introduce you." Leone immediately surrendered, and gave his 'good brother' a glare.

Lewis chuckled. Many ladies swooned overseeing the familial bond between the four, and also the smile and laugh of Lewis.

Louise felt her heartbeat rapidly at the sight of that smile. She had begun to ignore her uncle who was talking to her and saying not to cause any problems. And started to focus on Lewis instead.

Another woman totally focusing on Lewis was Leah, she could feel her cheeks blush red at the sight of his smile. She was already imagining herself carrying his child, and that smile being directed at her...

"Leah... Do you want to see him?" Her father asked gently, knowing the relationship between the two.

Leah nodded shyly. Not in the right mind, she and her father started to walk to the Guilliano family.

Lewis was no fool, seeing an obvious intent of contact, he didn't make eye contact with her. But then he was surprised and ended being approached by a woman wearing a fiery red dress.

"Hello sir, I don't believe we have met before today right?" The woman spoke to him in English and made him look up to meet her face.

She was pretty, and her body complemented the dress, but...

"No we haven't." Lewis bluntly commented before lowering his eyes and taking another sip of his drink.

The woman smiled lightly, as if liking the challenge. "Ah, introductions are in order." She said as she pulled out a small wallet from her cleavage. Opening it she pulled out a card.

With a card being shunted in his face. Lewis had a cold look in his eyes. Slowly taking the card, he read what was on the front.

If the woman knew his tendencies, she would know he was slightly surprised. Because his eyes dilated slightly. But she only thought he was surprised at her size instead...

"My name is Zenith Howwe. It's my pleasure to meet you Mr. Guilliano." She said with a smile, as she pulled out her hand for a handshake.

Lewis put the card in his breast pocket and looked at Zenith in her eyes. "Mm, the pleasure is mine, if you would excuse me. I believe another guest will be arriving." He said in a lifeless voice. As he then turned and walked towards the door.

"Hmm, how fun. Another challenge for me I guess." Zenith mumbled, before going to the bathroom.

"Zenith to squad commander. The banquet is going smoothly, but I really don't see what is so special about this banquet. I mean, the host of the banquet hasn't even arrived yet." Zenith spoke into her earings quietly.

On the other side of communications. Brad hummed in response. "Don't worry, just keep my father safe. I'm trusting you with this since the plan didn't include you. Keep me posted."

Zenith smiled, she was originally upset at the plan in Russia not involving her. But when she received a personal favor from Brad to give support to his father while on a banquet... She felt that he finally trusted her. And felt a barrier had been broken between the two of them.

What she doesn't know, is that the idea of Zenith being Mr. Bagna's secret bodyguard wasn't his idea. But rather the informant's he often was contacted by... He was given intel that the banquet might become dangerous, and that someone with some experience in the scenery and computers would be advisable for protection.

The only people who fit that were himself or Zenith. They both were experienced in banquets, and had decent or good operations on computers. But Brad was the squad leader, he couldn't just fly to Italy in the middle of a mission. So arrangements were made to quickly send Zenith over for this banquet.
