102. Tracking

He furrowed at me, the expression on his face made me almost laugh at him.  But I didn't. I controlled my laugh and faced him with seriousness.

"I am not joking. Along with gymnastics, I have done defence training too." I said to Xavier.

"You can't even hold the rod and injured your hand." He said.

"That because my hand slipped during that." I said.

Xavier thought for a while before replying. Probably he was thinking whether to trust my words or not. He already said he don't trust anyone than that man. I was new to the work too, trusting me will be much difficult for him.

"Fine." He said.

'Huh? Did he actually said fine?' I thought he would tell no. But how he suddenly accepted it.

"But." He began.

I knew it. There will be something behind his agreement.

"But if you fail to catch him. You will be fired." He said.
