The difference between direct disciples and personal disciples in the firmament is like heaven and earth. The former are disciples that can serve a cause, they've to answer the call of their master's clan. They serve and become sacrificial pawns for the clan. 

The latter, personal disciples, only acknowledges the Master and not the clan. Only the master can order them, and their doctrine and enlightening are different. 

While the disciples, in name, can use the resources of the master, but have to answer one order from the clan. After fulfilling that order, they are free to do anything they want, even stay in the clan.

Stunned by her words, everyone directed their shocked gazes toward her.

Master Feng Jun smiled bitterly. "The youngest one can understand me the most." 'That's why they said a daughter is like having a little love to support you and understand you.' He wanted to tell the last part, but feared it was not the right time to crack a joke.
