Dear old daddy

With a loud bang they burst open Olivia's front door, rushing through the door one by one and scanning the rooms, while the rest went up the stairs. Opening room by room until they reached Olivia's room. The entire process took just a few seconds. That is how fast the officers moved. But to Laila and Noah, whose eyes had been glued to the screen and who had been holding their breath through the entire thing, it seemed to last much longer. This was also due to all that had taken place in such a short time.

Once they were in Olivia's room, that is where the real show started. Lights and guns shining in her face, being fully disoriented and confused about the situation because she had been abruptly woken from her sleep, Olivia went through a range of emotions. Going from fear, to panic to sheer anger. "Kyaa, what is going on!? Who are you people?? Stop this at once! Don't you know who I am?! If you hurt me, I WILL make you pay."

Olivia was throwing out threats, much like the ones they were used to hearing from Harold, making some of them smirk as most of them stood in her room with their arms crossed. Just one of them grabbed Olivia from her bed as he forced her to get up so that he could cuff her, while a second one stepped to the front and read out the reason for her arrest and her rights. "Olivia Smith, you are under arrest for money laundering, attempted murder, intimidation, obstruction of justice by aiding a fugitive wanted person, and being accomplice to several crimes. You have the right to remain silent. You have the right to an attorney. Everything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law."

She was then officially cuffed under even more protest over the action itself and over the crimes she was accused of committing, which they of course ignored fully. As she was shouting, "I am innocent! You have no right to forcefully take me out of my house like this. Where is the proof? How dare you treat me like a criminal when there isn't a shred of evidence I did any of that! Just you wait until I contact my lawyer. Wait until you find out who my father is. Then you will be sorry!", the officers pushed her out of her room, down the stairs and out of the house.

Just as fast as the men had entered the premises, they managed to evacuate, with their target secured in the back of one of their cars. The mission had been a complete success and it had all been recorded. Her threats, the stupid looks on her face and they had the added bonus of being the ones to be allowed to bring her in like this. Every cop hopes they can use these tactical gears just once, especially under such circumstances where you life isn't actually in danger and you can use it for the heck of it. And because of Noah, they had been able to fulfill that small dream.

But one of the officers, the one who was stuck in the car where Olivia was being held, decided to make Olivia's night even worse. As she continued to shout, swear and threat, he felt his patience was being tested and he wanted to make her change her tune a bit. So, he revealed another piece of information that would make her feel like her world was falling apart, just in case their first rug pulling didn't have enough of an impact on her and if it had, he would enjoy seeing her despair for a second time that night.

When she mentioned her father once more in one of her threats, the officer turned around to face her with a smirk and he said, "Before you use dear old daddy as a threat, you might want to check where he currently is." As his colleague elbowed the officer in question, while saying, "Stop it. We aren't supposed to talk about that.", Olivia's face turned pale and with a dumbfounded expression she asked, "W-what do you mean..? What did you people do?"

The man held up his hands and said, "Sorry, sorry. You heard my colleague over here. I am not supposed to talk about it. As it is, I have already said too much. But let's just say, you will find out soon enough." He then turned back around and chatted with his colleagues, while Olivia was stuck in a state of panic, wondering what the man's words could mean and slowly starting to fear the worst.

Now that the raid had taken place and had been finished successfully, Noah and Laila had no more footage to watch. Laila was completely baffled by what she had seen. It was so surreal. One moment she was welcoming her husband back after a long day, the next, she was watching another dreadful person be taken away. She finally felt like she could breathe freely, without that trace of worry in the back of her mind of Olivia still roaming around. Now that she too had been taken in, she didn't quite know what to do or think, but sleeping certainly wasn't one of the options. For that, she had way too much adrenaline coursing through her veins.
