Chapter 22

When the chief's son left, the remaining 4 warriors began to walk slowly, brandishing their spears.

At that moment, the leader shouted "Ivo, jump"

Ivo didn't think at all and immediately jumped on the spot, as asked. At that moment, the leader began to use his fighting technique, the air around his hand holding the hammer began to distort. As the leader lowered his hand down, his heavy stone hammer hit the ground with all its might.

The warriors who at that moment were slowly approaching them began to shake and lose their balance. After this blow, Ivo did not hesitate, as soon as he got to his feet, he quickly ran up to two warriors, simultaneously piercing one of them in the neck with his spear, the warrior's face reflected horror, he grabbed his neck, trying to stop the blood.

But Ivo did not let him do this, he pulled at the spear that was still sticking out in the enemy's throat, directing and pushing it into the body of the second warrior, who had not yet fully understood the situation.

When the bodies collided, Ivo took a spear from his throat, and then stuck it into an already dead warrior, piercing him, as well as a living person behind him. Thus, Ivo killed two with one blow.

Remembering the remaining two enemies, Ivo turned in their direction, when suddenly he saw a stone hammer in front of his face * BAM *

Ivo flew off a couple of meters after such a blow.

Something buzzed in Ivo's head, trying with all his might not to lose consciousness, he tried to see at least something in front of him.

And he really saw the leader, who slowly approached him holding a hammer and someone else's spear in his hand, he began to say "You are right, if a victim appears that suffered at the hands of another tribe, the rest will not interfere with us."

Sighing, the leader said, "Don't blame me Ivo, you are very smart and strong at such a young age, you are already a young tiger of our tribe, but two tigers cannot fit on one mountain."

The leader began to swing his spear, when suddenly he heard the sound of a bugle and the clatter of horse hooves. At that moment, a shaman ran to this place, who started shouting "Fius, the southerners are already here, why have you been taking so long?"

Noticing the half-dead Ivo, the old man had several complex expressions on his face, but at the end his face became completely neutral, he said, "Finish the boy, we need to get out of here immediately."

As soon as he said this, several arrows began to fall around them.

Not wanting to stay here any longer, the shaman said "The southerners will deal with him, we need to leave immediately."

The leader nodded, dropped the spear and, together with the shaman, rushed towards the lake.

Already completely losing his consciousness, Ivo heard the clatter of hooves, and then someone's shout "Hic 'a barbara vivum, o princeps"

"Alliges eum vendere, sicut servus eius"

After that, Ivo lost consciousness and plunged into darkness.

After an unknown amount of time, Ivo, with a tingling sensation and heaviness in his head, slowly opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was that thick shackles with unknown runes were put on his hands.

Suddenly he remembered what had happened before he passed out. Opening his eyes wide, he began to carefully examine his current position.

As it turned out, he was in some kind of cage, which was currently moving in a cart. In addition to him, there were also 3 more people sitting here, judging by their clothes, they were people from other tribes, they also had these strange shackles on their hands.

Then, Ivo looked at the cage itself. In his opinion, this cage is made of the most ordinary iron, after thinking a little, Ivo reached out to one of the rods and tried to bend it. But even with all his strength, he could not do it. He also noticed that when he applied more force, the runes on the shackles began to glow more intensely.

At this time, one of the tribal people approached him, he said "Do not waste your strength, these strange shackles suppress our strength."

Ivo just nodded, sat down and began to ponder this situation. This bastard betrayed him, considering him a threat to his place of leader. But like most people, at the moment he was no longer worried about his own life, but about the lives of his relatives, so he decided to find out about the current situation from the system.

But before asking the question, Ivo changed the system's outlook to neutral. After all, he again found himself in an unknown situation.

[After the leader fled from the troops of the southern kingdoms, he, together with the shaman, convinced everyone that the son of the leader of another tribe ambushed you, while trying to get out of the ambush, you were killed. The chief decided not to touch your family, as he believed that he could use their anger against another tribe]

[Everyone in the tribe believed in this situation, only Vesta opposed it, and believed that you could not die from such weaklings.]

Ivo finally breathed a sigh of relief, at least the Chief did nothing against his family.

While listening to the systemic report, he also heard a new term, southern kingdoms. Of course, Ivo could ask the system about everything, but in this situation, he believed that it would be better if he did not ask the system. The system always provides true information, but at the moment, southerners consider him a barbarian who knows nothing about their lands. Who knows, maybe they have a means by which they can read someone else's memory? Another reason: it will be easier for him to conduct a dialogue this way and he will not have to lie. Of course, Ivo was not a conscientious person who always speaks only the truth, but as he believes, the best lie is the one in which you yourself believe.

Therefore, the best option is to go with the flow, and make system requests when he wants to confirm information from their lips.
