After a camping out for the night the group carried on until they reached their destination in an empty plain surrounded by incredibly tall massive trees all around the sun shining only on the one empty spot the plains in the middle.
Zena and Xen step forward looking all around as Connie sniffs the air here and there Priscilla and her small skeleton army fanning out in the area securing the area and staying alert.
"This is very troubling my Lord The Vaul tribe is simply gone Zena states."
"Gone I assume that's a bad thing yes I ask."
Xen nods and keeps looking about her spear at the ready as her wings and Zena's does as well ready to leap into the air at the first sign of danger as Connie speaks.
"This is extremely bad Milord The Vaul are known to settle in one location and never leave if it can be avoided they even stake claims on their lands they settled for more then a 100years and call it their ancestral lands only reason why they would leave is if they were threatened to do especially with no signs of battle anywhere Connie says."
"Priscilla then chimes in saying."And very few tribe's can do so so we are either dealing with a dragonkin tribe,A Lingva Tribe,A Siena Tribe or one of the defiled tribe's all of which are very very very bad."
As I was just about to ask the following question Connie speaks before I can."the dragonkin are half dragon half human tribe and can be considered one of the strongest tribe's clan even if they could stop infighting so much then there's the Lingva tribe's a race of serpents with human bodies their poisons is what makes them so deadly."
"Then the Siena Tribe is a race of spiders with human bodies they also have deadly poisons but they are deadlier then the Lingva mainly due to their numbers they can quickly become a problem for any territory it also doesn't help that most Siena are extremely hostile and predatory in nature very few are friendly and those who are were casted out or exiled."
"Then the defiled tribe are a race of undead a mix actually you have the Revenants the leaders then the necromancers who serve the Revenants then regular undead like skeletons and zombies but they have intelligence and so on and so on what separates them from the monster undead is their intelligence but the real issue with the Defiled is well there is always a Revenant and if there's a Revenant just as Connie was about to finish her sentence." A firgue emerges from trees deep from the forest carrying a scythe.
Death is guaranteed to occur the firgue spoke In a deep melancholy yet sadly sweet like voice.
"Leave this place...."The firgue spook and turned to leave but before it does it stops and turns around and points at Me.
"You have the smell of the Red Death about you for this you are allowed to venture but do not overstep your bounds the firgue says."
"Wait hold on where are the Vaul I'm looking for them can you tell me I ask."
"Ah yes the Bears the last of the living within these woods I know not why they left but they heeded northward the firgue spoke."
"Ah in that case they musthv left when our tribe sent the Envoy to your tribe my lord Zena says."
"No way we will be able to catch up to them My lord Xen says."
"Damnit I guess we will head back home for now then I say pondering for a moment when the firgue spoke again."
"Should you meet the Red Death once more human tell her Ingvil Tel Toldis Mesdodena The firgue spoke."
"Uh first what the hell kind of language is that and second why don't your people Join mine I ask as the firgue shoke it's head and spoke last time."
"No not yet we have business elsewhere....not ....enough time...need."The firgues voice became shaky and changed several times midsentence as it's body twitched a few times before straightening then it simply walks away its only when the firgue is completely gone then Both Zena and Xen put their spears down and breath a sigh of relief.
"Did that just happened a friendly Revenant like for real"Priscilla speaks after a few moments of silence from everyone.
"There is only one person who matches this Red Death individual." I say thinking of the whole strange ordeal as I look At Zena and Xen and ask.
"So is there any other reason why the Vaul would simply leave their ancestral lands I say towards them when Connie says in shock."
"They are Joining the Resistance but why they haven't joined since the start of the war there must be a special reason why Connie says looking at me."
"No idea But I bet Isabella will know and I have some questions for Lucy as well I say."
"Agreed Master Lucy musthv done something maybe back when we were all separated for a few years during the war she never did tell us much we only know she survived because she's a Demi god and a servant of Karma Priscilla says."
"I press the temple of my head and groan and say she's a Demi God and there's a God in this whole called Karma ahhhhh why did I not know this before I say."
"Well you never asked Master Ash is a transcendant for example Priscilla says."
"Uh what now I ask in confusion As Zena speaks.
"A Transcendant My Lord is one who has gone through many trails and tribulations and gained recognition from a God unlike becoming a servant to a God which is sometimes not one's choice one who becomes a Trascendant gains A boon from the God they worship I myself for example am a Trascendant and gained the ability to control cosmic energy a very small amount of course but it allows me to be able to fight warriors far above my rank Zena says."
"Ok there's alot of information to unpack here let's just go home I'll process it maybe ask some more questions on the way but right now my brain is fried and now I'm Even more terrified of Lucy oh dear God I can't die unless my Dungeon heart is destroyed fucking christ."
After a few moments of me thinking of hundreds of ways Lucy could torture me if she wanted to the whole group leaves heading home as we do we notice lots of firgues high in the trees almost like elfs but they aren't they are undead hundreds of them bones rattling can be heard echoing throughout the massive forest the ones in the trees merely just stare with their glowing eyes.
