Chapter 10: Hope meets Murderous Fiend

~Third POV~

After the event of changing the Towa family, Jason has been busy with creating his armor that he had help with Monaca creating it to make the process faster.

However, that wasn't all he did during his time in Towa City he also had time to get to know the Warriors of Hope a little bit better from understanding them from his time giving them therapy from the Neo World Program.

They laughed they cried and most importantly they are as real as they can be…

As Jason was working on treating them, he had to wonder to himself in a serious tone that he can't get rid of the thoughts in his head, 'I know I have played the game and seen the anime but… even then this feels all too real to be true. Even now I still doubt myself but…'

Jason kept on thinking his train of thought as he wondered to himself in a serious tone, 'I wonder is it ok for me to be greedy… I mean I could just take, and do as I want right with the system? Is it ok for me to do what I want though without any consequence?'

Currently, Jason was working on his Neo World Program on Masaru Daimon inside the Towa Hills guest rooms his in the next stage I set up a level round against his abused father like a game.

As Jason was working on it, he heard the kid through his advanced laptop through the screen say to him, "Say Big Bro can you log me out I want the rest of the guys to help me out with this boss!"

Grinning at this Jason responds kindly heartily at the kids he spent his time with considering his suppressed emotions he was able to retain them step by step again once he starts feeling like himself again.

He grew to appreciate the Warriors of Hope as dysfunctional as they are maybe it made him feel happy to help them out.

Responding to Masaru through his headset with a microphone he responded to him, "Sure thing Masaru I'll place your save point so you can bring your party the next time oh so the great leader of hope."

Hearing the joke Masaru was embarrassed at the praise as he yells at Jason in the cyber world, "Yeah, yeah I get it already big bro you don't need to rub it in do you?"

Responding to his childish whimpering he laughs a bit at that as he spawns a save point as Masaru enters inside of it and then was transported away into the real world as he removes the headset in a happy mood.

Masaru then began to get up and readjust himself again after laying down in the same place for a long hour as he stretches himself, "Oh yeah! I finally made it to the boss level of the game! I will beat your old man but not alone but with my party hah!"

Jason responds with a slight chuckle at Masaru at that but then he receives a call from his laptop as the screen display Kotoko with her acting cute, "Hello Big Bro! I was wondering if you can do me a favor quick please…?"

Raising his eyebrow at this Jason responded with clear confusion in his voice as he responded to her, "Really what is the favor you want from me to do?"

Kotoko smiles at this as she responds to Jason with a sweet smile that Masaru is listening in to their conversation, "Thank Big Bro! You see I wanted to get this book called the 'So Lingers the Ocean' I heard it was a good book and it still is I was hoping that can you get it in Towa City?"

Once more Jason and Masaru were dumbfounded by Kotoko's actions as the two raised their heads in confusion as she clarified the two, "Geez you two the book isn't for me. It's for Monaca as Nagisa wanted to ger her a gift and she once said that she wanted to read the book so we all thought it would be great for her! But knowing how big brain as you put it Big Bro it would be a surprise if it came from you."

Listening to the conversation Jason nodded his head in agreement as he smiles at this, "Sure if that's all then I don't mind. Just give me the address to where the place is to collect the book then I'll hurry along."

Kotoko at the other end of the screen smiled and did a thumbs up for the thanks as the screen turns black Jason looks over to Masaru with a sad smile on his face, "Sorry there Masaru it looks like that boss would have to wait for the next day."

Masaru being energetic replies not worried about the sudden change as he responds, "No worries big bro. Besides what Monaca was talking about here I bet she will be overjoyed I can wait till everyone is with me to beat the final boss. So, no worries."

Nodding at this Jason packs his things as he began to leave the area of residents as he proceeded to leave the room and head to the directions where the novel was located from the info provided by Kotoko.

Later in the day at sunset of Towa City Book Store was Jason seen entering the building seeing the group of people lining up for the novel 'So Lingers the Ocean' and could only sigh at the scene while he thought to himself, 'Is it that great of a novel if a lot of people wanted to read it firsthand? Maybe I should consider reading some of Toko work's while I'm here could be something good.'

Meanwhile another ultimate happen to be around in Towa City busy getting her book published at the day in a publishing building as the manager of the company was busy reading the newest novel.

The manager finished reading the novel began to praise the young girl in front of him as he liked her work, "Thank you again Toko for giving us your story to publish more of your work."

Yes, the person that he was talking to is Toko Fukawa a former student in Hope's Peak Academy's Class 78th, and a future participant of the Killing School Life featured in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc as her title is the .

However, thanks to the earlier events that have changed from the school dark secret being wide open for anyone to see Toko is one of the many other majorities of Hope Peak's students who decided to transfer out of that academy into a different one once the dark history was spread out in the life.

Now out pursuing her own life she is back to publishing novels again as she likes but also keeps in contact with her friend stink bug and other classmates.

While the manager of the publishing was admiring her work, she was quick to act shy but return to being calm seeing she needs money for her career, "Eh… Yeah, thanks for the compliment sir I'm hoping that we can form a contract to continue publishing my work."

The manager nodded his head as he read the resume of Toko as he grins at the background of Toko Fukawa, "Hmm… yeah you used to be a Hope Peck kid. Well, I'm glad that you left that place with everything about human experimentations and projects I can't imagine how bad it must have been for the students there."

Toko flinched at that since the man wasn't wrong as once the project was shined in the public domain the mass question if Hope's Peak Academy was even necessary if they were able to get away with everything just because the government supported them.

But the manager returns Toko with a friendly smile as he drops the topic since it would be bad for him to lose a great profit and talent of a person, "But with that aside I don't mind making a contract with you so long as these novels of yours come out great. I hope to have a good business with you Toko so then if you sign the papers here and talk about the other matters, we can happily agree to publish your novels."

Toko was then filled with joy as she began to read the contract details and everything about her cut of the profit and such…

Later till it was sunset and close to the nighttime Toko breaths out a sigh of relief after passing her time with the manager, "Sigh… my god that was so nerve-racking. That was the scariest thing to ever happen in my life… but at least I'm moving forward with my life but why did it have to be in the dark! I hate the dark!"

Toko could only curse at the sky for such unfortunate timing as she had a fear of the dark thanks to her father and two mothers.

But that was also another reason she chose to not live with her parents because of the mistreatment from them but now that she is free to do as she pleases, she can at least have the freedom to do what she wants.

As she walked down the streets of Towa City she smiles at her predicament as she scoffs back of her time in the academy, "At the very least my future won't be stained by Hope's Peak past. I would rather cut ties from that place than let ruins my future. Although I wonder how the others are handling the changes."

Glancing up at the night sky of the moon was clouded by clouds she finishes her sentence to herself, "Still though I know I wasn't the only one to have left the class there was the Ogre, Aoi, Togami, Kyoko, and Celestia. I guess they have to follow their dreams I suppose without Hope's Peak dragging their names to the ground…"

Shaking her head away from those unnecessary thoughts she began to continue onward of the night to her place of residents in Towa City as she wonders how her classmates are doing.

Just as she passes over the bookstore selling her books she sees a hot blacked haired boy with red eyes leaving the bookstore with his thoughts as Toko blushes seeing him, 'Whoa that boy there looks hot! I wonder…'

That was when she sneezed that caused her to change into her split persona Genocide Jack the .

Once she was up and running, she saw the same boy from earlier and laughs at finding the perfect prey for her to become her next victim as she spoke to herself, "Kyeehahaha! Oh man, it has been a while since I have been out! And that hunk of a good-looking guy looks about my right kind of boy! Kyeeha how lewdest of me wanting to crucify that boy but he looks just so handsome!"

While waiting for the novel a lot of time have passed as it was almost nighttime as Jason finally reached the front of the desk as gave the person a QRI Code for the novel already prepaid by the kids.

As he grabbed the book, he began to leave the area of the Towa Bookstore as he realizes how late it is as he spoke to himself as he wanders around the alleyway in the night, "Whoa didn't realize it would be this late to get this book. I mean I already knew that from the analysis talent but it's mind-boggling. Although I can see why Junko would see the world as boring fortunately for me, I would rather use it for myself. What a drag."

However, as he walked along minding his own business, he couldn't help but feel as if someone was stalking him.

*Swoosh*

Getting annoyed at the present as he was about to call him or her off, he managed to catch a projectile going straight for the eyes as he examines the weapon in his eyes, "Scissors? These weapons could only belong too…"

*Swoosh*

*Swoosh*

*Swoosh*

After observing the weapon Jason avoided all the projectile strikes of the scissors aiming at joints of his body as he grabbed them out of thin air as he drops them all to the ground as a burst of laughter came throughout the night.

The laughter soon became even louder as the person in question came out rushing towards Jason as he avoided every strike aiming to kill, "Kyeehahaha! Damn cutie I didn't think you had the balls to block my scissors there! But then again you sure do have a huge thing down there I wouldn't mind sucking you dry! Kyeehahaha!"

Listening to her words Jason didn't know what to react that some crazy killer girl came to try to kill him then offer a blowjob right after.

He felt uncomfortable in that situation and needed an adult at that moment…

Shaking his head and bringing himself to the reality of the situation he tried to talk to Jack, "So I guess you must be the serial killer Genocide Jack or is Genocider Sho?"

Jack responds to Jason as she was trying to cut him up as he dodged her attacks as she spoke with passion, "You got it right handsome! But I'm also known as Genocide Jack ya know? Also, I couldn't help but cut you up you see you're just way too good looking but I don't mind riding you on bed… Just kidding! Kyeehahaha!!"

Avoiding each of her attacks Jason blocked every single one of them as well as get close to try to attack but Jack seemingly having inhumane speeds managed to dodge his attacks although barely as she moves around.

The fight or sudden brawl kept on going as Jason distance himself from her and asked her a curious question, "Say Jack since you are a split persona, I have to ask why you exactly kill is there any reason to it does that make you special?"

Hearing that question Jack merely laughed but also replied to Jason not caring much as she spoke with passion, "Kyeehahah! Anyway, we're not all that special. Anyone could have that weird reaction, ya know? I mean hell, the human mind itself is its split personality! No, it's true! Why else would headlines be filled with stories of murder, theft, fraud, all that crap! To turn away from that truth is to turn the aggressor into the victim! So why do it!? Embrace it, and indulge your consciousness the way you've always wanted to! I'm not as twisted as you might think! You and I both gaze at the same horizon, don't we?"

Listening to this from a murder point of view Jason stops and somewhat agrees to what Jack says as he smiles at this, "Yeah… I suppose you are right. I think I will satisfy myself how I wanted now… Thanks, I needed that."

Jack was really confused about her prey's sudden actions as Jason felt more relieved although odd at the same time, he takes the words of a serial killer to heart.

*SWOOSH*

With just one quick swift motion Jason took out Jack by a quick karate chop to the neck instantly knocking her out as he grabbed Toko.

Checking her pocket, he found the address to her home as he says to himself in a selfish tone, "I guess I should take responsibility for knocking you out. So, I'll make sure you are at least home. I don't know other crazies in this city that would take advantage of you better to be safe than sorry."

With that Jason was about to take Toko to her home but suddenly he felt that he foresaw the future a bit using the talent of the as he smiles while talking to himself, "Hmm… I guess some things like fate or destiny do exist if this is going to happen."

With that as soon as he saw a short vision was done, he quickly returned to the Towa Hills to give Monaca her book.

As he was returning from his trip, he saw Nagisa and Kotoko at the entrance as Kotoko questioned him with an annoyed expression as she spoke, "What took you so long Big Bro Jason! Aren't you supposed to be lucky or something?"

Handing the book to Nagisa he laughs at this as he answered her in an embarrassed tone, "Yeah I kind of had a meeting with an interesting encounter and the line took too long. But otherwise, it has been a normal day for the ? Hahaha?"

They both sighed at that as they all went in to give Monaca her present…

Meanwhile, as Toko was knocked out she was woken up by another person as Toko looked up to see in confusion, "Huh? What the hell happened but who exactly are you?"

The other person was wearing her schoolgirl uniform along with a Towa school jacket with an ahoge on her hair as she helps Toko up as she responds to her concerned, "Why ask me that? I should be asking you that why are you sleeping in an ally way!"

Toko looked at the surroundings as she blushes with the embarrassment of the scenario she was in as the schoolgirl replies to her, "Geez we need you to get some help come on already! And you need a bath!"

Toko took offense to that as she asked in confusion and flustered, "Wha! What! Why would I you plain-looking girl!"

That was when the other girl puffs her face as she scolds Toko leaving her surprised, "Wha! What do you mean plain-looking girl! I have a name you know it's Komaru Naegi!"
