Chapter 25: Prelude
~Jason POV~
It has been a few days ever since the Iron Man incident that I accidently cause during my trip to Naruhata but I have to say my actions were justified within reason for killing that murderous psycho.
Anyway, as the days went by Fuyumi did as she promised and tried to teach me all the understanding of the subjects of Math, English, Literature, and more but to her surprise I passed through all of them even in college or university level courses…
Except for history mostly because of the obvious since I didn't know any heroes or vigilantes that were shown or have read since I don't the history of this world, but the rest of the subjects was easy enough.

Fuyumi couldn't make me have homework of the other subjects since I completed them except for history but that was done really quickly lasting over a week before she gave up teaching anything new that I already knew.
Although it was nice of her to at least try to help me but wasn't necessary.
But since Fuyumi gave her number to Manami she became her assistant of her workplace once she learned how talented Manami was with her computer skills that she joined up for the chance to socialize without anyone disrespecting her.
I mean it's really good for her to finally move on in her life from all the problems in her past and thankfully great for me to train in the mornings using my quirks.
I like her company and all but the age difference however would make somewhat weird in today's society considering she's 4 years older than me but at least she doesn't have to be fully dependent of me in her life.
While I agree that Manami is cute and adorable to be around I wouldn't go so far to say I like her more like a friend and I don't want to overstep my bounds with her either but thankfully she is at least improving.
Hopefully she finds someone she likes in the future as a friend but as well as finding the right guy maybe with Fuyumi help, she wouldn't be depressed anymore and find someone suitable for her.
Now then as I was in my room sitting on my couch I am once again alone while Manami and Fuyumi call time to time they are usually busy I have some free time to do.

With that I began to leave as I got dressed up as I left my apartment while I thought to myself in a curious tone, 'Ok so far everything has been normal for a while now and nothing bad has happened yet ever since my encounter getting quirks. Yet why hasn't anything have happened yet?'

Shaking my head at this I talked to myself in a defeated tone, "Yeah no use wondering on what ifs its only to cause some headaches for me later down the line. Best to enjoy what I can do for the time being."

Hearing this I was a bit surprised that someone said what I spoke as I took a glance to see a green hair teen with a confused expression on his face in his normal clothing as I replied to the knowing teen or kid, "Not much just dealing with the waves of life ya know? Anyway, it's a bit rude to speak like that so suddenly kid. The names Jason and you are?"
Responding to my question the kid in question stammers embarrassed at the sudden question I asked while bowing, "Oh! Uh-h… sorry if I was ease dropping-g! The names-s Izuku Midoriya-a Jason-san!"

Observing him more closely I asked honestly curious as to what he was up to, "Ok then Midoriya was it? What are you doing anyway? I'm just heading to the supermarket to get some food."
Once more he responded to my question with a nervous response, "Uh-h I was actually getting some ingredients as well… you see my mother asked me to get some while she's busy…"
Shrugging at this I asked him an innocent question since I'm bit bored going by myself and talking to Alter Ego doesn't count, "Hmm… ok so how about we both. I don't mind a friendly companion to talk with in fact it would at least past the time."
Izuku only nodded his head nervously as we both began to walk towards our destination.
This kid seriously needs a chill pill it's only been a few minutes and his a nervous reck maybe I should start up a friendly conversation, "Say kid what is your favorite hero anyway? I'm new to Japan still so I haven't exactly been knowing the Japanese heroes in this country would you mind filling me in?"

~Third POV~
The Shie Hassaikai is one of many Yakuza groups that ran the criminal underworld in Japan. A man known only as 'The Boss' originally lead this organization and raised Kai Chisaki into it.
The Boss believed that gangsters would only follow a boss with a code and morals. His generation fell from prominence during the rise of All Might and Heroes. The Yakuza were pushed into the shadows and lived under constant surveillance.
Currently at the time Kai also known as Overhaul was glancing at a small little girl who couldn't be no less than at the age of 4 as he spoke coldly at her, "Come on Eri it's time for your time to hand over your materials will be needed. After all it's for a more… just world…"
Eri could only have her eyes widen in fear knowing what the mad Yakuza meant by materials as she grew more fearful…
The mad man Kai grew up feeling he needed to restore the Yakuza to their former glory because he owes the boss a great debt which leaded up to this moment.
He also strongly believed that Quirks were a plague on the world and people infected with 'Hero Syndrome' ruined the Boss's life. Kai got more heavily involved in dark dealings despite the Boss's misgivings.
Eventually, the Boss introduced Kai to his daughter's child. A little girl was left to him after her Quirk made her father disappear into nothing.
The mother believed this girl was cursed. Kai looked into it and discovered that Eri's power was the frightening ability to Rewind. He developed a plan to use Eri's Quirk to develop a Quirk-Destroying Drug that would destroy Quirks and restore the Yakuza to power.
Kai would use his own Quirk to overhaul Eri's body and experiment with her DNA and infuse her blood into a weapon that erased Quirks.
Kai believed he could cull the Heroes by developing 'Quirk-Killer Bullets' and distributing throughout Japan. This would bring guns back to prominence as a legitimate threat to people and then the Yakuza could sell a cure too after the plan gets in motion.
By controlling an entirely new market for Quirks, Kai could reinstate the Yakuza as the biggest superpower in Japan. He would achieve his goal of getting rid of Quirks and returning the world to the way it was before the Quirks changed everything.
Kai was then next seen dragging Eri completely away into a torture like room with bindings and blood around it as she struggled to break free but couldn't as she was too scared to do anything…
However, one of the security cameras that was glowing a green light caught it inside Overhaul while Alter Ego was catching everything to a certain vigilante, 'Hmm… the boss would surely not like were this is going but at least I caught the whole layout of the place. As well as provided the evidence needed to justify his actions to the public. At the very least I have completed my objective of gathering information of the Shie Hassaikai.'
With that Alter Ego left through the open channels of the internet to return to Jason side to give him the important information needed.

Somewhere else currently at this time was Izuku and Jason both talking to each other on the subjects of heroes as it seems to calm the broccoli boy of his worries.
As they already bought their needly foods for their homes Jason spoke out a bit impressed and weirded out how Izuku knew this much of heroes, "Whoa… chill down kid I already get that you like heroes a lot by this point. But I think it's becoming an unhealthy obsession there Midoriya? You sure you don't need therapy help?"
Questing the kid Izuku looked shocked as he shook his head immediately as he spoke out negatively about it, "What! No way it's completely a normal habit of mine! But anyway at least you now know more about the heroes in Japan. Although I find very surprising Jason-san that you came here from America and speak very fluent in our language."
Jason laughs at that responded of Izuku as he replied giving a fake answer, "Hahaha… Well, what can I say I'm a man with many talents and speaking in different languages isn't too difficult either?"
When Jason first spoke about the heroes in Japan to Izuku he was positively happy to speak with another person other than Kachan as he was happy explaining after that they hit it off pretty well talking to each other about heroes.
Although it was more on Izuku side Jason listened intently to it as Izuku is a living hero encyclopedia for heroes and heroines alike.
When they finally arrived at his apartment buildings they casually started to go to their homes as Izuku says his usual with a hopeful expression, "Say Jason I don't know if it seems rude to you to ask this question but…"
Jason stops as he was finally at the entrance of his home but took a glance at Midoriya as he nodded signifying for him to respond, "Can a quirkless person become a hero? I mean coming from another quirkless to another is something like that possible?"
But to Izuku surprise Jason laughed at that question but then replying even shocking him even more, "Hahahaha! Of course, they can but if they are really planning to be hero in the future they need to be at least trained for the task. Like seriously I mean for a quirkless person to become a hero would need to be at the top physical condition as well as have the gear needed to save the day."
Glancing at Izuku who is shocked by Jason's answer he continued to go on as he spoke, "What a quirkless hero would need is good support gear to help him function in his duties and also the skills to back up his feats. Like that Iron Man fellow on the news a few days back."
Izuku looked at Jason as if he was crazy till he heard his opinion from his side that made Izuku think more seriously, "I mean if a simple man could wear that armor and kick ass fighting villains with quirks then it's not completely impossible to become a quirkless hero. You would just need an extensive amount of groundwork to cover but not impossible kid. Even if you can't be number one hero it doesn't really matter that much if you help someone then it's enough."
Izuku was mesmerized by Jason's perspective that he finally says a final piece of advice to him while being optimistic and charismatic, "I mean we live in a superpowered society sure, but weapons and tools were what humans needed before quirks. Sometimes you've gotta run before you can walk to be hero. And if you can't then Heroes aren't born, they're built."
Listening to Jason's words Izuku felt moved by his words as he began to leave but not before bowing his head as he went off, "Thank you mister Jason-san… you gave me some ideas I should've started a long time ago… Have a good night!"
Smirking at this Jason opens the door as he closed it then went to packing up his food items he bought at the store as he talked to himself, "That damn kid still needs to learn, but at the very least however he can start. I swear Deku did nothing to achieve his dreams maybe my words can give him the motivation needed to actually accomplish his dreams."
Just as he was packing the food Alter Ego arrived in his head as it spoke, 'Sir I have found the Shie Hassaikai that you were looking for. I might also add a lot of evidence against them as well as security footage.'
Frowning at this Jason saw the footage as his frowns deepens as he saw what happened as his tone and reaction went dead silent…
