That was when I heard Alter Ego respond to me in a scolding tone, 'Sir please do be mindful that despite getting your Nen. It's considered frown upon using an initiation and do keep in mind that easy to obtain information is secret here.'
Sighing out a breath of relief I replied to my friendly Alter Ego in an apologetic tone as I spoke to her in my head, 'Yeah sorry about that I still keep on forgetting that easy information in my world is easy to learn while here is secret.'
With that ended the conversation between us I kept my sights on the Gon group subtly as the rest of the guys are here and looking over to Leorio state, he seems beaten up but was fine good everything is following as scripted.
Turning my attention to gates I saw them opening up from the building in front of me to reveal the next two members of the examiners.
I see the big one is Buhara a hulking figure with a large potbelly and an even larger appetite. He is capable of consuming large amounts of food more than his body weight. He wears a yellow shirt and green pants.
The one sitting on a couch is the second examiner Menchi she has a physically fit body that enables her to search for unique foods and culinary experiences, many times in dangerous places. She ties the back of her hair into 5 top knots and wears a bikini top with a mesh shirt worn over it, alongside daisy duke denim shorts.
I look at her ready for the next step of the exam I listen in to them after they introduce themselves, "Therefore, the theme of the second trial will be… cooking!!! We are both fine gourmet cooks! Thus, your mission will be to satisfy our appetites by cooking us a meal!"
I look over to everyone being surprised that was cooking and I listen to the examiners saying that we need to match what they want on their plates otherwise if we fail will be disqualified if we fail to make a good meal they want.
Everyone was nervous about what to do but they calmed down after they hear what is Buhara meal as he grins at everyone slamming his belly, "For me, it will be… Roast Pork! That's what I like best. I don't care what kind of park it is, as long as you chase it in Biska Woods okay… Let the second round begin!!"

I bring back the pig putting it on my single hand that I carried back at the building surprising everyone on how quickly I got to start cooking I only used about 75% of the pig while I kept 25% for myself to eat.
Menchi and Buhara looks a bit surprised that I came here quickly but Menchi question me on my remaining 25% of the meat as I cooked, "Hey participant 403 are you going to use all the meat in your cooking because it looks like you are cooking some of the meat for yourself.
I didn't look towards them I just replied honestly and to be sheepish at her about the food with my talent, "Well I was just curious about what it tastes like since one of you seems to like it very much so I thought I could have some plus you never mentioned we had to use all of it to serve you. That and I'm pretty confident with skills in the kitchen."
It didn't take much convincing of the two as they looked very interested in me about the topic of cooking. That's what I wanted for them to see so that I can get a better chance to succeed with my luck.
Just hope it doesn't bite me in the – No!

Although the expression on Buhara face showed more interest in the food I was cooking with some spices here from the forest. I had Alter Ego analyze the plants and spices in the area to figure out what was similar and safe for human consumption.

Without any more time to waste, I began my cooking since I didn't roast the entire pig with a stick and cook it on the top of the fire, I took my time to make it look nice and taste good as well with plants and spices.
As soon as I finished my cooking and served it to Buhara and Menchi tried it they gave thumbs-up signs notifying me I succeed in my cooking.

Like I was going to fail on this with my talents of

That was when I saw one of them click a button as from the ground came up with all cooking tables with all the tools, and rice inside the drawers for them to help create their Sushi for the next part of the exam.
I could only nod to accept their decision because the first part was easy the second part was going to be more difficult for the others me not really since I know where this is going.
I waited till everyone was done and finished their cooking just as I expected from canon only 70 participates were left, Menchi says what she wants, "I'm warning you; it won't be as easy with me! I'm very cautious when it comes to taste! Second round, phase two… Here's my order… I want Sushi!"
As soon as she said that I quietly left the place in silence I was very lucky that no one noticed my disappearance and they were distracted enough to stay there. Sadly, that Ninja is going to ruin the plan to get himself secured.
If he didn't open his big mouth, he would've been the only one to pass the Hunter Exam. For such a ninja that is shameful, but I will use that to my advantage instead.
Usually, I think things of how the plot should go from here, but the thing is there is nothing important here honestly. But even so, I want to know something very important here if I mess with the world a bit derailing it is such a thing as plot armor existing?
Well, there is one way to figure out now is this simple test. I quickly go over to a nearby river as soon as I find one, I see there were a few fish around.
I smile happily knowing I was very lucky to find these fishes I caught every single one of them leaving none for anyone to get, 'I know this test will fail but I want to at least try to succeed in it just to see if I can pass if not it was fun trying at least. But also conduct a test on how I mess with the plot to see if plot armor exists. One way to find out.'
Searching around the forest in the area I managed to find some fish as I grab a handful of them as I also obtain some more plants from the river as well as other organic materials around the place.
Before leaving I plan to make sure I get that license first by providing the necessary things as I used the
Unfair as this might be to others but in the Hunter X Hunter world the whole importance doesn't revolve around Gon and his merry band of friends. It will still revolve around even without certain events going as planned.
But this is also to confirm that if I make drastic changes like this will the plot armor exist, or it will divert into an unknown path instead?
Such question is for that reason that I would like to know if the plot exists or not in this world and if does then I can use the plot armor to my benefit instead.
How many anime or game worlds are like this as they follow the plot of a story while I someone outside from their view that there is more than meets the eye in the scene. Using that method, I can find more powerful or use items or people that might help me in the future.
But that depends if plot armor exists or not first.
While I have obtained the ingredients, I see that everyone was still busy trying to think what the hell is Sushi is. Time to play my little trick as I spoke out loud enough for everyone to hear as I speak acting ignorant tone, "Hey everyone if you have trouble making sushi then the main ingredient is fish meat it's very basic after all. I don't want to accidentally kill you if I poison the food I create as I'm not sure which of these plants are poison or useable for cooking?"
To my surprise, they nodded their heads in agreement as they gave me some tips on which one would be used correctly and which one had a unique flavor. But that was when Menchi asked a question in return with confusion, "Ok then 403 since we answered your question hope you can answer ours in return? Why give such information to the other contestants in the exam?"
Ah, I figured they wanted something in return if I asked them for the information of this place's plants, so I complied with an innocent smile as I spoke, "Oh, that? That is very easy honestly because the majority of people here seem to don't know how to cook. At best compared mine cooking to everyone here you will likely eliminate them for dissatisfied food they make while I know I can pass the exam if everyone were to fail yes?"
Menchi for her part just smiled at me for thinking that much ahead but that was more so for the plot of the story that gave me the edge of knowledge here. But they don't need to know that.
That was when I felt an arm around my neck as Hisoka gave me a pleased look as he asked me in a not so kind but is tone, "Well then friend how about you help your good old friend Hisoka out then? I mean there is no rule that we can sabotage the others or help them right~"
Fuck now here comes the bad luck. Glancing at the two hunters they sheepishly wave at me as I sighed at that as I speak to Hisoka, "Sigh… fine then 'friend' I'll help you have to cook Sushi properly then. But in return, I would like to know the location of Heavens Arena so that I can practice my Nen there?"
Before he could answer us, both heard the other disappointment when I took all the fish in earlier entrance parts of the area, "What the hell where are the fishes! Damn it let's look elsewhere!! I don't want to fail because of this!!!"

Shrugging at this it wasn't like I have a choice in the manner and by sharing I'm assuming it's going to be Killua's brother might as well not have an experienced Nen assassin on my list of growing enemies.
I have to make sure to keep my abilities hidden as it's too soon for me to use my quirks here as it would give me away. Well unless you have to be a really smart big brain hunter or one of the side or main protagonists…
That was when I felt a tug from the other end as I see Kurapika glaring at me as he soon smiled while he was alone as he looked at me, "I see… you just tricked the others to get ahead… how about you tell me as well and in return, I don't tell the others that you sabotaged them. After all, there is no rule stating that we have to attack others or make them fail correct?"
Glancing at Hisoka he looked amused as he let the whole event happen as he laughs at my situation right now. Great…
