Chapter 60: <Soul>

~Third POV~

While that happened the ability ended leaving Jason with a body containing the power of the Black Demon Class with no way to operate.

As that happened Alter Ego then appeared before Jason as she spoke to him in a curious tone in his direction, "Hello sir, I have a question if you destroyed the demon mind how would you be able to use its power if it's not going to function?"

Smirking at the question he glances over to Alter Ego with a friendly smile as he summons up a small blue light as he spoke to her, "Yeah I know that but I had to ensure that Asuramaru doesn't appear for what I have in mind. Alter Ego there is a way for me to use the demon power, but it will be under new management since I can't exactly trust these demons as they are trying to backstab me."

Alter Ego looks closely at the ball of light as she tilted her head as she responded knowing what Jason was holding in his hand with mild surprise, "Sir, isn't that your soul from that quirk you got from Rody Soul with his quirk? But what exactly are you going to do?"

Raising his head with a nod Jason agreed to what Alter Ego agreed as did the ball of light of his soul as he motions towards his soul into the braindead soul of Asuramaru but not before he used his on the quirk as he spoke, "I Jason Borne quirk will be able to fuse with anything compatible containing my will."

While he waited for the change, he then began to explain what was happening next to Alter Ego as she was confused as to what was going on, "Correct again Alter Ego although it's only a duplicate of the quirk. What I'm about to do is give the braindead Asuramaru my quirk already containing my will. What will happen if something no longer containing a will gets my quirk containing my will?"

As he was done explaining that was when the demon body soon stood up again but the eyes this time wasn't filled with hate or annoyance as it finally spoke in determination as he viewed Jason, "Boss."

Alter Ego looked on ahead surprised as she saw what Jason just did as she spoke out with clear fascination of the scene, "You purposely made the demon soul intelligence disappear while removing his will and replaced it with your own instead of using the quirk and since the will of a quirk can't be destroyed… The quirk's ability to manifest the user soul manifestation that is linked to the user soul… you purposely fused the soul of the demon with no will with yours containing your will."

Jason nodded once more as well as he created or used the technique of the Soul-Soul Fruit from One Piece to recreate a homie by removing the intelligence of the soul and replacing it with his own and in the process making the demon soul into his quirk.

Since Jason made Asuramaru braindead and no longer have a will making it a powerful blank soul. Since they can't learn new things or even resist Jason quirk it effectively becomes combined without no issue.

Since the former soul demon has no intelligence and no memories or experiences of the previous user mind this will no longer affect Jason, as when the quirk returns with Asuramaru abilities it will still end up being his true self after the return with the bonus of getting the demons abilities.

While the demon with the new soul looks around already having Asuramaru's soul it moved around as it replies to his original, "Hmm… the soul of the demon is a powerful boss and more so the abilities. I wish to return to whole once again boss as well as call on my help sir."

Jason merely nodded his head as he brought out his soul once more while the body of the demon containing the quirk walk the soul tapping it letting itself be absorbed with no issues with each other sides.

When the return of the quirks happened, Jason felt that something new developed with the quirk as it gained new abilities as he recognizes as his own. Swinging his arm to the side he viewed a black substance formed at the hand as he saw he activated his quirk to see that sword of the former Black Series Demon Asuramaru appeared before his hand.

Taking a glance at the sword inside his mindscape Jason raised his eyebrow as he looked at his weapon as he talked to himself, "Sword huh? I mean not to disrespect a classic anime weapon I was more in the kind of thinking something different… Hmm… let's try this."

*Swoosh*

With another swing of his hand, the quirk activated as Jason materialized into a different weapon as simple as an ax as he saw it being wielded, "Now this is more like it! Ok, let's see if this works outside the world since I fused the demon soul with my own."

~Jason POV~

Returning myself from my mindscape I see to use my quirk as I managed to materialize the sword katana blade into existence as I swung it around with ease, "So I guess the demon Asuramaru is gone crazy. I guess just got a major upgrade as it was able to fuse other souls now."

Huh?

Saying that out loud I guess I'm holding a very literal blade that is made from my soul is something quite dangerous. The real question is how dangerous could my quirk get now that it can turn into a weapon.

Taking my eyes on the remaining Black Series weapons that are Gekkouin and Kiseiko I can see those are the remaining powerhouses weapons in here. There are very few ones around, but I can see that they are lower ranking in power levels with my quirk.

Shame that the only Cursed Gear they produce was only swords, axes, and even bows. No machine gun, pistols, rifles, hammers, or Gatling gun on them.

This is going to take a while for me to just use my ability on every demon I touch with my hands will take a while for me to get done. That they will also try to rebel against me since AFO can't work here because they need to be organic for me to steal their abilities.

Hmm…

That might not be the case let's see if this works first using the quirk I see that Asuramaru's body reanimated as it began to speak to me, "Hello Boss, it seems that you require my assistance. So, what do you need from me?"

Good, it looks like I can still get the body to appear while it is using my quirk as a medium to enter our plane.

Glancing at the body of Asuramaru I decided to talk to it and also give it a name since the original name is a mouth full, "Ok uh… you know I'll name you Asura when you come out to help me in that form. Also, I was wondering if you can use my quirks since you are a part of me now?"

Asura now nodded his head proudly as he began to answer my question with confidence, "Boss, thank you for the name Asura… I'll wear that name with pride. As for the following question yes Boss I have the ability of your quirks as we are linked. Although the proper term would be borrowing since the quirks AFO and OFA act like banks for me to use."

Ok so that's how it works with Asura now using my quirks then this would be a lot simpler for me to do next. With that I began to talk to Asura to do the following instructions, "Ok Asura then can you take the abilities of the demon's souls using in the process?"

Seeing Asura begin to place his finger on his chin as he thought about it as he shrugged at my question but then nodded to at least try.

With that, I see Asura began to go towards the Gekkouin as Asura merely held on to it and just like I see the same light as when I do take quirks of others as the light soon faded as Asura then spoke to me, "Sir I managed to obtain the abilities of Gekkouin looks like I can take things as well. You want me to do the same as Kiseki-o?"

Well, I'll be damn it looks like Asura can steal the abilities from objects unlike me that I can steal from organic beings with abilities. Is it because Asura was a spiritual-like being, to begin with since it can take the abilities of other beings like him? This will certainly be a game-changer for the future like RWBY or worlds that use soul energy.

With that Asura began to do the same process to Kiseki-o as he steals the abilities of Kiseki-o coffins and already took Gekkouin's ability to fire multiple energy-based projectiles.

As the whole process was done Asura yawns at the scene as he began to disappear as I didn't need his help now that everything is done, "Ahh~… Ok Boss I got all of their abilities so when I return to whole again you should be able to use them. Anyway, later Boss…"

Like that Asura vanished as I felt new loads of information enter in my head as I recognize the abilities of Kiseki-o and Gekkouin. I guess that takes care of getting the power of the demons to use as my own now.

Now that I have got what I came here for it's time to leave this place but to where exactly as I need to find a base of operation for the time being. Being in Shibuya is not an option for the time being as other members of soldiers would notice something wrong when the guards are knocked out.

It's time to get going as for where to next should be somewhere that I have time to develop some testing against the vampires but also find the other three angels.

I already know where Yu is inside vampire territory at Sanguinem that exists in the world of Seraph of the End and is the third capital and third largest city of the vampire world. Located underneath the ruined city of Kyoto, it is home to prominent vampire nobles, such as Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes.

The sixth trumpet is introduced imprisoned inside a magical barrier within the underground laboratory of Guren's former mansion in Aichi Prefecture.

The fifth trumpet Mirari Kimizuki according to my memory that in three years later, in 2015, Mirai fled with Shih0, though he had to carry her due to the Virus making her too weak to move, thus making things difficult for her older brother over time.

Since it's one year before Yu escapes then Mirari should still be somewhere in Japan with her brother taking care of her as best as he could along with that virus harming her.

I have a lot to do I think it's time I get out of this place soon luckily for me that Japan is the same world as my own. Good thing I have memorized the sites of places around the world with geographic locations.

Hmm…

If I were to get a place that might be a good base of command, then the best bet is to go to Sannomiya. That place is a city district in Seraph of the End Sannomiya, Kobe is a refuge area for humans not associated with the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. They flee from Horsemen and live their days in terror.

Perfect!

At least in this world, I don't have to exactly hide anymore since this place is a walking horror place but if the people are banding to one person with power then they can feel relieve for having someone like that around.

Plus I can make up the excuse that it was using my Cursed Gear or advancement of technology as the people don't know-how. Also, I need to begin working on multiple projects that I need to get done as soon as possible.

Maybe I should make some kind of robotic fighting force to help combat the likes of vampires as well as provide a helping hand to humanity. Plus, the information about the projects from I-Island programs would be ideal to create a safe place for them.

*Vroom*

Using my quirk I began to move inside the portal as I made sure it will be located in the sky above Sannomiya since I'm going to need the time to get everything ready.

Stepping outside to see the fresh air still in stealth mode I see the destroyed district of Sannominya while all the buildings are in a poor state of affairs with moss growing from them, but I can sense people are around.

If I want to make my group, I need to recreate a haven for the people here, and using my quirk is an ideal power to help return the buildings into their proper states. Although the lack of power and plumbing is going to be an issue along with the food with the plant life like this.

Also, I need to discover what is the weakness of those Horseman of Apocalypse along with the vampires as well as to deactivate their gear. Plus, those vampire weapons are made with much stronger stuff than what the soldiers in Shibuya had I'm going to need to find the molecular blueprints like this.

For now, though I think it's time for a revolution is upon me time to get to work.
