Chapter 73: No Holding Back

Saito defected and modified the second Progenitor.

Saito is a hidden character along with the former first progenitor Shikama Doji in the Seraph of the End world achieving his goals as they are unknown to many.

Being a former second progenitor, as well as one of the highest-ranking members of the Progenitor Council, Saito was already among the most powerful vampires worldwide, although, on his admission, he is still far surpassed by Sika Madu, the first progenitor.

His modifications have increased his strength, as Urd Gaeles noted when he proved able to fight on par with him, another second progenitor, implying that he was once weaker than Urd but with his modifications, he is as powerful as he is, and they tie as the strongest vampires with Sika Madu, who is now a demon.

He also quickly defeated Third Progenitor Lest Karr, who is considered to be stronger than Krul Tepes.

He has displayed great reflexes and speed, managing to intercept an attack from Urd when he was moving at speeds fast enough to swiftly reach Ferid's house and dodge most of Urd's slashes, although Urd noted Saito had gotten slower than before for unknown reasons.

In Catastrophe book 6, after Mahiru's transformation into a vampire, she attempted to kill Saitō with Shikama Doji but fails when the latter manages to block the cursed scythe with just two fingers. Mahiru notes that despite herself becoming a vampire and receiving the strength of a third progenitor, she is still unable to land a single hit on him.

Saito also possesses extreme physical durability and endurance. Being strong enough to survive having the majority of his body obliterated, rendered incapable of regenerating the damage right away due to the Key's powers, he was still able to move around and escape to safety to momentarily hide from his enemies and rest.

Saito can turn into smoke and dust and release chains from his body. He says this is from being experimented on by the Thousand Nights, but the truth for this is unclear. By using these abilities, he hides his true nature as a vampire.

His chains also allow him to absorb the life force of others if they come in contact to increase his power. A stream of them out of his left hand can produce a large shape, namely a pentagram.

Once chains are stabbed into human hosts this construction can capture demons. Used in conjunction with demon powers, Saito's chains can reach targets of his choice including the First who is in his demon realm.

Firing a chain into one human can have it appear out of another human in the physical world. This can be used for communication where it can relay Saito's voice for him to administer plans.

He is also able to summon beasts' heads that consist of a dragon, lion, wolf, bear, and goat heads that even Shikama Doji described them similar to the beasts of the apocalypse.

Even with all of Saito's abilities and his overpowering abilities it pales in comparison as he saw Jason going all out as he released .

When Jason uses his quirk it releases all the potential strength that his body is capable of as it reaches the very limits of his body releasing a lot of stamina for exchanging pure power increase everything in his body including boosting the powers of his quirks to 100% best efficiently.

But such power of boost is not without some side effects…

Sparks of blue were surrounding Jason as he looks at the two and the rest of the pawns as he is glancing at them with a deep voice, "Now then you bloodsuckers have just gotten outclassed now. Saito no number of enhancements in your body is enough to defeat me but…"

At the same time Saito and Jason both went off to fight against each other, but Jason was faster than him as Saito had his face smashed into the ground as Jason's fist smashed at the skull of Saito as it made a crater on the floor with cracks forming inside.

Jason then replied to Saito in a determined tone as he spoke out with little heavy breathing as he spoke, "In the face of power no matter the techniques and abilities you have won't mean much if I smash them away!"

The shockwave from the attack made the vampires run away from the site as only Krul was able to withstand the two fights but Saito grabbed his fist as he glares at Jason with clear hateful intentions as he spoke, "Cough… You are more powerful than the average human. I doubt that you are even human anymore but then again, the scent you have makes it that much sure you are human. What are you exactly a failed human experiment? You must feel so special that your parents abandon you to become –"

*BAM*

Before he could respond further Jason took offense to what the bastard was about to say as Jason punched him in the face again as Saito was holding his pain as he felt his skull cracked but was already healing.

*Clang*

That was when Saito released chains that were wrapping around Jason as he mocked the human as he thought he got him, "Ha! You know these humans are fun to experiment with. You happen to squirm all the right ways and are predictable creatures. I bet your parents never wanted a devil child like you… Urgh!"

Silence…

The silence was what he met as he glanced the fist of Jason moved over to his throat as his eyes on the armor turned dark red with his activated as Saito chains never even clashed against the armor but the powerful malice of his instead as he managed to further increase Jason anger and hate.

Saito now realizing that his enemy was waiting frozen with his anger took his chance and try to pierce his for through the head as he put all his might into his hand landing a hopeful critical hit as he was struggling to break free…

However, the reality was just as disappointing as Saito hand attack the helmet of the as the armor was absorbing the kinetic energy into the suit Arc Reactors while the chains weren't doing any more damage.

The former reinforcements of the vampire forces looked at this as they charged right in as they yelled out loud at this travesty of their reality since they have no fear to know what was truly dangerous, "Come on our fellow Nobles and Common Ones! Our ally is distracting the enemy if we rush at him as he's distracted, we will win this day for all!"

With that the majority of the arrogant nobles and common ones but as one only got close to Jason he momentarily let go as he touched one of them as he felt his quirk changed as he touched one as he spoke in a dark tone, "Begone annoying pest this bloodsucker bastard is mine. I'm not allowing him to live not after mocking a man's parents."

As he touched one of them as his eyes shined brightly at that moment in his current state the quirk works instantaneously at that moment. Using his hands everything he touches is affected by Decay's spread; the function of which working in a solipsistic fashion where anything or anyone connected to what he's touching suffers its effects.

Unaware at that time Jason's hatred and stress of his worries made his quirk to be awakened but also thanks to the cultivation rate of OFA quirk thanks to its 25x times growth bonus to not that quirk but to all quirks inside his body.

Adding that to his Nen enhancement only furthered increase his body growth rate.

The vampires then soon turned into dust thanks to the awakened quirk Krul fell to her knees seeing the big power difference of her power to Jason she spoke out in despair accepting defeat, "No… we… we… we can't beat something like that… no human should have this power and he's not even an angel or demon…"

Jumping out of the way like that Saito saw the chance to get away as he saw how he could've ended the battle with him with sweat running down his face, 'That freak of nature! The gall to damage me to this extent no Saito I need time to get rid of this freak I just need to steal more lifeforce the – '

Using the quirk Jason was now in front of Saito as his eyes widen slowly as Jason has now surpassed the second progenitor in speed as he grabbed his face as he activated the quirk taking away his ability, "You think you were going to get away with those remarks? Oh no, Saito, I have more things to destroy you Saito and as compensation, how about you repay me with your abilities of yours. The ability to capture someone even in a different realm of mindscapes, having a logia-like body of smoke and dust, and robbing others of their lifeforce. Truly a unique set of abilities but good at the same time."

The light showing Jason using his powers took all of Saito abilities of his modifications as he was using his as Saito now noticed that his abilities are gone of his enhancements as Jason now used the new abilities casually walking to him as he spoke in his accelerated time world using , "Interesting use of your body Saito. But at least I now know can steal the abilities of other races especially when they are modified. I'll call your logia like smoke and dust ability . Those chains I'll call the the ability to target and capture anyone no matter where they are in realms and absorb lifeforce energy."

Jason on his part laughed lightly as Saito couldn't do anything only motioning his arm to him as it tries to transform into his while Jason responds, "Hahaha…. Saito for all your atrocities along with your gay lover Shikama Doji. Tell him when you reach to hell, I'll keep in contact to visit so that we can double the pain."

While the armor was charging brightly as the power of the fuel inside the Arc Reactors shined blue fire while the fire began to erupt using his Quirk the ability to generate and control fire being used to fuel the armor as he spoke to him personally and as well as the other vampires, "Let's see you bloodsuckers take this attack to hell! !"

The soon appears in the same spot as the large flames emit a concentrated beam of heat as a pillar of fire soon came upon the sky as the heat temperature rise in the area above the human world vaporizing his targets.

Any nearby Horseman of John was burned to a crisp as not even ash would remain from such intense fire of heat emitting from the pillar of condensed fire erupting from the ground while the increased the firepower of the quirk.

Everything within under the city of was burned as everything from the heat and fire of the melted everything from the underground city of Sanguinem as well as the city above it but fortunately for his luck no one was there except for the Horseman of John as they all died in that burning attack.

As everything came to the full view of a literal smoldering crater of molten ground Jason stood there completely exhausted as the surrounding him showed that it was damaged as it couldn't completely absorb all the attack.

Falling on the ground as Jason used his quirk to fix everything back to normal as he felt his whole body spent even having the quirk he felt completely exhausted as a drench of sweat surrounded him.

Breathing heavily to himself for overexerting his power he slumped down on the ground as he talked to himself, "Sigh… Cough… that was a bit much using my real strength damn… My body feels extremely stiff after that attack. But I guess using my made me more emotional to his words. I guess I need to improve more on my feelings about that topic."

Observing his was damaged by his attack as it already started to rebuild itself against seeing the damage as the quirks inside of it began to repair, "Whoa… I knew this armor was going to grow along with me, but it didn't stand that much when I went all out from that. I need to get better material for the metal it seems as my but it is growing that's for sure."

Seeing the sky above Jason felt tired as he used his in the air to steal the vitality of the plants nearby to quickly regain his strength.

As he was absorbing the vitality, he noticed that chains came off from his back as it also began to absorb the vitality as well as he looked on in wonder, "Oh? I guess using automatically use the that's neat."

While examining the chains he noticed that they are magically enchanted as well as in that moment Aiba appeared again looking surprised, "Master I have… what the hell happened to you, sir!"

Laughing nervously as Jason used from the armor he began to explain to Aiba as his whole body was sore, "Hehe… about that Aiba I guess I have some explaining to do but I do have a way to force that Doji fucker out and something to deal with the angels."

Aiba on her part shaker her head as she spoke with a smile on her face, "Of course you would find a way, sir. But from the health signs from the armor bio scans you require medical treatments. Internal bleedings, damaged bone structures, muscle tissue deuteriation, and even a quirk awakening as well? Sigh… this may take some time for you to recover sir."

Jason on his end laughed nervously as they follow inside the gate back to his Helicarrier in Osaka Port to get the second angel gene of the Salt King.
