Chapter 82: Brawl inside the Fairy Realm

Power levels.

A Power Level is a person's pure fighting prowess presented as a numerical value. A person's total power level is the sum of three different values:

Magic: a measure of magical power.

Strength: a measure of physical ability.

Spirit: a measure of composure, determination, and perseverance.

It is to be noted however that power levels are nothing more than rough estimates of one's overall capabilities and, at best, should be used for nothing more than reference.

Their values can change, mainly based on the situation at hand, compatibility between powers as well as each individual's physical and mental condition and overall skill.

Though the standard differs from kingdom to kingdom in Britannia, a power level of greater than 300 is required to become a Holy Knight of Liones.

A clash between the traveler and the Fairy King Gloxina began as the king noticed a disturbance once the Sacred Tree faltered the connection to the fairies that notified the king that an intruder invaded their homes to learn someone has taken drank the Fountain of Youth.

Upon noticing this he quickly got away from his throne and rushed at fast speeds to find the perpetrator as he found the person responsible wearing an odd red and gold color knight armor as his glares intensified seeing that his fellow fairy was assaulted and came to the conclusion that the person in front of him was the cause.

Landing on the ground he rushed towards the intruder intending to end him with his magic weapon Basquias.

The Spirit Spear Basquias is a legendary spear granted to Gloxinia, the first Fairy King to be chosen by the Sacred Tree.

Basquias is an immensely powerful weapon, possibly even more so than its counterpart, Chastiefol. Like Chastiefol, it has the qualities of the Sacred Tree and is shown to possess several unique forms:

Form One: Basquias: It is the original form of Basquias, which is a great spear that can levitate to attack and also proves to be capable of firing a powerful beam.

Form Two: Guardian: Basquias takes the form of a gigantic hornet-like insect that possesses incredible speed.

Necrosis: Basquias attacks the target with its sting, resulting in the stung body part being paralyzed.

Form Five: Yggdra Armor: Basquias wraps itself around Gloxinia and forms a suit of armor equipped with large sharp claws.

Form Seven: Moon Rose: The end of Basquias' tendril blooms into a giant, pale rose.

Inochi no Shizuku: A droplet from the Moon Rose is shown to heal even the most grievous of wounds. Gloxinia can only use this technique a certain number of times in a row, after which it cannot be used again for a while.

Form Nine: Death Thorn: Basquias disperses into a myriad of vines, piercing through anything Gloxinia chooses. Even the slightest cut seems to result in death. The ivy is traditionally extracted from within a sunflower that grows among the highest branches of the Sacred Tree.

Form Ten: Emerald Octo: The form Basquias is usually found and is used by Gloxinia as a means to sustain itself. These tentacles can be used as weapons that can cross objects or people.

Rushing towards Jason prepared himself as the weapon clashed against his equipped with quirk to defend himself but…

But despite its defenses, the was pierced by the weapon of Basquias as clear surprised flash over to Jason's eyes as he now knows that weapon can pierce his armor but not all the way only enough to stab through just enough to stop at the skin to draw blood.

The one more surprised than Jason was Gloxina as he saw him still standing as he used his magic to put enough to kill an intruder as he narrowed his eyes as he flew back along with other fairy guarding the Fountain of Youth.

Both of the fighters stepped away from each other getting some distance away examining each other seeing what the other has to offer.

Gloxina on the other hand calmed down seeing that whatever the armor Jason had was enough to stop his attack using Basquias but not enough to deal damage as he thought to himself, 'This is a first. But what exactly is a member of the Goddess Clan doing in Fairy Clan territory? Did this angel get eternal youth? Or is it a stray?'

Shaking his head at the scene he saw that the armor began to already repair the damage from his spear as he narrowed his eyes as he cast to see his enemy strength, 'Tch. Whatever that knight is it seems that his armor is already healing. Is it his Magical Ability? Hmm… cast … what?'

Using the magic allows the user to see the enemy's Power Level to determine their power but what the Fairy King saw left him confused seeing the stats of his enemy's strength or his power level.

[Magic: ???]

However, the concerning fact of the matter for Gloxina was the strange way his strength is based on multipliers something unheard of for him or for any being strength to be compared to from his understanding.

Although he was more annoyed by the fact that his magic, spirit, and strength which says has question marks as if the magic itself can't identify what the actual amount is leaving the Fairy King confused about what exactly is dealing with.

But then his worries came more as Jason started to use his quirk OFA himself at that moment getting serious with the king but then saw a drastic change in power.

[Magic: ??? x 75]

Gloxina for his part could only curse seeing that the numbers of the three remained unknown as he felt the power change came along with the pressure as Gloxina tried to get a better handle of the situation.

But he could grit his teeth as all of the parameters of the three suddenly got a 75 times power multiplier as he charged his weapon using the first formability.

As the magic was gathering inside Basquias Jason noticed the amount it was charging as he prepared one of his own as all the Arc Reactors began to charge trying to match up with the Fairy King attack.

The two of them not backing down from each other till…

The clash between Gloxina's first form was firing off a large magic condensed beam against the at max power was a clash between the two as it soon caused a power struggle to see who would lose out first with their powers.

Clashing between the two beams created a shockwave as the two still kept their ground while everything else was blown away from the result of the beams crashing into one another. One of magic against one of science as the two fought to see which one would concede first…

However, seeing the wasn't losing any power only made Gloxina frustrated as he couldn't sense any magic in the attack as he thought to himself seriously, 'What the hell is that thing!! It's not even using magic in that attack is it brute force or some kind of magic that is invisible to others? DAMN IT!!'

Since the concept of science was foreign in this world as they heavily rely on magic the Fairy King would've never figured out that the attack was fueled by an infinite power source fueling it to not notice that his beams were becoming smaller as the power struggle between the two continued.

When the Fairy King noticed that he was losing the beam struggle he was soon distracted by Jason as he spoke to him in a form of a question, "I have to admit for someone ruling the Fairy Clan you so have some power to back it up… but I can't help but wonder are you this weak to protect your people?"

Gloxina soon became enraged at the question as he responded to Jason question as he smirked victoriously at the scene, "You would dare – "

Suddenly like that Jason used his quirk to stop the fairy king from thinking as the beam struggle ended while he flew up to him using as he soon asked a question to the brainwashed king, "Ok Gloxina tell me where to escape from the Fairy Clan Realm from here to the human world?"

Like that Gloxina spoke in a dead tone to Jason as he pointed the direction to leave from his point, "If… you go that… direction from here… you will escape from the… Fairy Realm to the… Human Realm below…"

Smirking at that he was about to get the biology of the fairy king till he noticed that multiple enemies of the Fairies fast approaching in his direction as Jason let go of the idea as he fled, "Tch. I guess I win some and lose some here. Best to leave from here before I get overrun no way, I'm staying here to piss off some Fairies in their home-field advantage."

*SWOOSH*

Flying away from the scene leaving a sonic boom in its wake Jason fled while using In to hide his presence using Nen to escape from the Fairy Realm as Aiba recorded everything of the geographic area…

Leaving the area of the Fairy Clan home I managed to get myself to see how big this world was in the Seven Deadly Sins in the past.

I wish I had more time to get Gloxina Fairy Biology to get their abilities but even I'm not confident to take on a whole army of Fairies for no reason since I can see that they will hunt me down since I took Ban's ability of Immortality.

Sigh for now though it's time to stay lowkey for the time being and gather information about this world and magic.

While flying up above the sky I can see how vast the world is with all the grassland fields all around with some mountains all around the area as I can even see human settlements in the area.
