The pros are that being king of them is likely to bring change in the process like making new laws and such for them. Hell, maybe teaching the ways of construction using their rock-based magic would help them out in living conditions.
There should be some giants here that can use shrinking magic to help them become small to be easier or I could create a large city for them in the process along with some modern well less than modern way for them to create.
Then that way I can teach them the importance of creating some clothing for them but also keep their warrior ways by teaching the importance of retreating and the value of their own lives as I remember.

When Jason became the next King of the Giants and Drole spoke of their epic battle the Giants looked at Jason in awe and disgust to some as they thought they tricked their king into giving him the throne.
