Chapter 4: [Machina]

Taking my time I began to read everything from this world of Remnant had to offer about Aura and their capabilities as I needed to remind myself of what they could do and can I also do it from the Wiki of my world comparing it with it here.

Aura is a necessary energy source for all Huntsmen, being a powerful ally in battle. It is also required in order to trigger the use of Dust. Aura, as demonstrated by various characters, can be used in the following techniques.

Defense: Aura is mainly used for defensive purposes. While users of Aura will not be hurt as long as their Aura is up, they can still feel sensations such as pain and heat. It requires training to always subconsciously have a cloak of Aura on.

Offense: Capable of sending shockwave of force through the use of force. Additionally, that all tools and equipment are conduits for a person's Aura.

Unlocking Aura: One's Aura can be used to 'unlock' the Aura of someone else.

Healing: It also seems that those with a strong enough Aura can heal minor wounds, however, it appears that the healing is automatic and not caused at will.

Dust usage: To use the power of Dust, humans and Faunus must use their Aura to trigger it. The user's Aura allows them harness Dust and utilize their elemental power.

Extrasensory perception: Aura allows you to feel like you were being watched without knowing that someone was there. In a more common sense, a sixth sense commonly active.

Climate protection: One's Aura can protect from cold weather, even with thin clothing and showing no discomfort. As with combat damage, extreme weather will deplete one's Aura eventually.

Sensing Aura: is more or less the advanced style of searching one's other people aura. Note it takes years to master and few years to be proficient in battle.

Identifying Aura: can be well aware enough of the target's Aura if they encountered it once or twice before.

Researching all these info about aura and stuff from public knowledge have been at least thrilling to say the least. The web series didn't explain or go into that much details about it since its only what the viewers need to know.

Still though the way they describe it is basically like Willpower Haki or Nen focus using their aura on some steps while other times different kinds. The way to utilize them is only issued during Combat Schools something I don't find the luxury of having.

As for semblance goes many people find themselves to have great power or curses of activating them. So far no automatic one's have appeared for me at least which is a relief and a curse at the same time.

Frankly though its not like I couldn't try it was more so the fact to figure out what power I have is rather hard to find out. It could practically be anything really and the worst part is how do I find it?

Like in the series stated before the power could never really be found out as there are other people like Roman who never truly found out their semblance. No matter though if I can't find out then that's that.

No use worrying about it then.

When I was done researching I began to go towards around the place of the library as I began to walk away from the place feeling that I have done what I needed to get. No use trying to cause of scene.

Now the real question is how do I learn how to fight?

I mean I can pretty much be an average guy just super strength and can take some punishment but the issue comes to can I really live. I know jack shit when it comes to fighting that I'm willing to admit.

And despite getting Roman weapon Melodic Cudgel I need to learn how to fight using it.

Going inside a nearby café I began to enjoy my time drinking and eating with a side snack as I began to open my Scroll out checking out everything. I mean what – Huh?

*Zzt*

Hearing static is not a good thing?

I mean I literally got the damn thing couldn't be faulty though it's brand new so why the static?

Raising my eyebrow at this it seems I may have to get this thing fix as I try to open the fuck?

Showing me the homepage and everything already I began to analyze more on my scroll as it activated on it's own without me making any contact… Hmm… actually has my aura been flickering a bit when I tried it?

Thinking of this I tried a different approach to this as I began to I guess think what the Scroll is doing like opening up the gaming app or video using this world equivalent of internet. And by gosh it worked?

Blinking surprised at this I began to think as if I had control over my scroll as it began to open up my aura gauge seeing it being used up to supply my actions. Oh… I'm so going to love my new ability.

I was perhaps thinking a combat one or supportive one's would do. Hell a cursed passive like Qrow misfortune is a welcome but the ability to use Techno-Telekinesis the ability to control machines?

This will become very handy and like extremely so.

Hell, I just became Atlas personal nightmare cyber terrorist at this rate. Wait if I have techno-telekinesis it does deserve a name, right?

That is how the people name their abilities when unlocked right?

Hmm…

Oh, what the hell how about [Machina] the ability to control machines and technology with my thoughts. This will certainly be handy in technological worlds and worst in magic or backwater worlds because of lack of materials to control.

Not a bad ability overall and one that I need.

Learning about one's semblance over exhausting myself I managed to find out how much control I need to analyze [Machina] properly. Ow… the headache is certainly something to feel as I can feel the throbbing pain.

Once I learned how to use it I can control the machine of my choice or afar since I needed time to myself to actively control it. And by giving a command it can give it to me the answer regardless of how secure it is.

How I found that out?

I might have hacked into the CCT to specifically look into the info and building plans to create Penny which was kept secret, but I managed to get their plans easily. Although the massive headache soon came and costed me to drain lots of my aura.

Ow…

Made sure to only get the data and no tracks be revealed although even I'm not sure. In case better to move to another location just in case.

But…

This power has its uses like this. I took some time to charge my recovery rate with others and figured out it took about few hours' worth like say 2-3 hours at most. It was that draining and made me tired.

Although the real odd part about all of this would be the fact I have the blue prints notes about her inside my Scroll. If I can get this much on it then I could probably get the facts of how to use Aura professionally.

When I had enough time to recharge I began to take another dive into my Scroll to collect more info about the world and take the info about how to use aura from huntsman and combat schools.

*Beep*

Like that it has began as I managed to ask what I need and only a few minutes I got the info I wanted from their data banks here in this world as I felt another massive headache again with this shit.

Ow!

Yeah that is going to get some used to but what matters most now is the info I got. Clicking it on the book app on the scroll I began to see what I need to about how to use and properly train in aura as well as transfer your willpower and channeling aura step by steps.

Jack pot.

Smirking at this inside an separate apartment room rented of course I began to trace my motions as it was in the video accordingly to help get into the swing of things. Better get used to it and see what else I can control.

For now though I need to train the body and my Semblance [Machina] the best I could. Maybe I could go for the doctor octopus look from Marvel or a power suit?

Eh…

For now though I should be busy getting ready to prepare myself but glancing at my scroll I guess it doesn't hurt to call the favorite ice cream girl. I mean I read the novel and it must be boring it shouldn't be that hard right?

Holding my scroll I began to activate my semblance to see where this leads.
