Chapter 19: Info Exchange

~Zack POV~

With that we began to train as much as we can about magic from Echidna since she gave us the spells that would be useful for each of us to use.

My magic is Yin and Yang magic as Echidna told us to each begin slowly as possible because we never used our gates before.

Since we never tested out our gates and overusing some magic could potentially harm the gates we have to be cracked or unusable fortunately our gracious teacher gave me and Neo magical plants that help restore our body or our gate's condition to continue training them.

Along with a sheet of paper of what spells we have and how they operate according to her words.

Shamak – The target becomes unable to sense where they are, however they can still feel the ground and sense what's happening to their body.

El Shamak – The target becomes unable to control their bodies while under its effects.

Ul Shamak – UI Shamak covers the area in darkness like Shamak except the opponent can't tell anything while under its effect, such as where they are sitting or standing. Those affected by it can be snapped out of its effects.

Al Shamak – Al Shamak is capable of sending its target to a different dimension. It is borderline impossible for a living being to come back from the dimension they were teleported to.

Minya – Magic that creates stakes made of crystallized mana covered with light purple flames. They are strong enough to penetrate defenses. Any stakes in the air explode and release smaller stakes that fly in all directions which then rips targets apart.

El Minya – The spell works exactly the same as normal Minya, only changing the number of stakes shot to 40.

Ul Minya – The user creates a purple ring of light around the target that shrinks and binds the target, subsequently spreading across their body. Once the target is bound, a huge purple-blue light appears above the target to destroy them.

Al Minya – The user creates rows of purple rings that are condensed as they fire off a condensed beam of purple fire at their enemy.

Murak – The user reduces the effects of gravity. Just by lightly pushing yourself off the ground, a person can jump as if they had springs. If the user wishes to, it can also be used to fly, although the user will get blown around by the wind like a leaf, but they won't flip around in mid-air.

Vita – The user casts this spell to amplify the effects of gravity, making an object heavier.

El Vita – El Vita presumably works the same as Vita and only grants extra mass to the object of casting, greatly amplifying its weight.

Ul Vita – presumably works the same as El Vita but only grants extra mass to the object of casting, greatly amplifying its weight.

Al Vita – the strongest form of instantly crushing the object by adding mass it can't support itself possible to bring objects from the sky down or beyond.

E.M.M. – E・M・M is an "absolute defense magic". Yin Magic interferes with the time and space around a person, and while they can't move during activation, they experiences no interference from outside the barrier as they stand still and can be used until mana runs out.

E.M.T. – E・M・T is an "absolute negation magic". A spherical field several ten meters long within the castor at the center is created which negates effects from mana within it. Echidna remarks that it is useful against mages and those who use mana to assist their techniques. However, the magic only negates the use of mana, and so it has no effect against opponents who specialize in physical fighting.

Those are the basics according to Echidna that is what a Yin Magic-user is capable of but the effort of using their spells are some can't handle because of the Al effects added into their attacks or efforts of wasting their mana.

Next up I glance at the Yang section of magic from the paper Echidna gave me to use as it's the opposite of Yin magic.

Restoration Magic – A type of Yang magic that can recover objects to their original state. It's mainly used by specialists who have an innate affinity for Yang so not that many people can use it.

El Jiwad – The user fires several rays from their fingers which are then brought down in a claw-like motion.

Al Jiwad – Al Jiwald is the ultimate form of Jiwald. The user fires a destructive ray of heat from their palm that annihilates everything in its path and is extremely hard to block or counter.

Ul Jiwad – Ul Jiwad is the true ultimate form of Jiwad. The user fires off a condensed ball of heat almost radiating close to a fire ball able to destroy the kingdom.

Akra – The user produces pale-colored light around the target that envelops them in a veil of golden light. The veil presumably allows the target to carry things with ease.

Man…

Those are a lot of spells for me to learn even more so on the Yin side of magic.

Still, though they are all good spells for me to grasp and understand completely given enough time.

Maybe with enough time for me to corporate them to use on High School DxD against some people with magic and cancel them out and by them, it will be an all-out brawl from there on for me to use my Aura.

Aura helped me reach superhuman feats and the people or beings in DxD solely rely on magic and very few brawlers but having E・M・T it will make their magic completely useless to me.

Perfect.

Later into the night with Penny by my side with Neo asleep I was staring face to face with Echidna as we agreed before to exchange information with each other.

We both sat as Echidna has her Beatrice next to her as Echidna began to speak first, "Now then mister Zack. Time for you to exchange info about these… androids you speak of."

Nodding at this I began to explain to Echidna what Penny and the units are in great detail as I could and also question her curiosity about what they are and how they are made.

Even going as far as showing her the P.E.N.N.Y. units circuits and blueprints to her as she was fascinated by the prospective ideas behind them as she grinned happily at the scene.

But in return, I requested her knowledge of Meteors of her world as she began to explain eagerly about the whole process since I was dumbfounded about using magic technology worked.

Meteors are tools that allow people whose gate isn't working properly to use magic. It is known as a magic generator that does not require the user's mana or training and everyone is able to use Meteors.

There are many sorts of Meteors, and most of them are created by the most skilled craftsman in the world. Magic Stones are commonly used in Meteors; however, it does increase the rarity of a Meteor.

Next, she explains her latest invention the White Fox's Nest.

A Meteor captures a person and makes them do a trial based on the owner's magical experience and mana. The target cannot escape unless the trial is finished, and the target cannot die within the trial either.

Have to admit it's intriguing and learning how to use it has been grateful to know.

I wanted to know this personally so I could use my [Machina] semblance to control machines that are magic-related like a certain God System in DxD for me to use and hijack it myself for me to use.

However, I needed a weapon of reassurance as I then asked Echidna with some curiosity in my voice, "I see. In that case what about the creation of Artificial Spirits and about the Ten Swords of Power."

Echidna smirk twitched at the swords as she began to refuse that as she began to say that is not negotiable and I would agree since they are broken as fuck in this world but about artificial spirits is ok to talk about.

Ten Swords of Power are ten swords that the author has stated to be ridiculously powerful, that exist in the world.

They're stated to be sharper and more beautiful than normal swords and have magical properties. They are separated into three categories; Enchanted Swords, Holy and Bewitched Swords.

The ones that are known in the series are The Dragon Sword is also known as the Dragon Sword Reid, The Fiend Sword also known as Murasame, The Dream Sword is also known as Masayume, The Yang Sword also known as the Yang Sword Vollachia, The Life Sword also known as the Life Sword Zeam.

Those words were mentioned in the game or the show but these ones haven't been found or mentioned yet as they are called the The Cursed Sword, The Beloved Sword, The Spirit Sword,

The Shadow Sword, and The Blight Sword.

Their locations are unknown and getting the Life Sword or known as the Life Sword of Zeam out of the question because I'm in the past.

The Life Sword also known as the Life Sword Zeam while it has not yet been introduced in the main story, in the Re: Zero Lost in Memories mobile game's exclusive Aganau IF story, Subaru retrieves it from an eccentric noble by the name of Count Reedback, who likes to collect different things and artifacts.

The sword is classified as a Magical Sword. According to the game, it has been "fed" with copious amounts of mana, which gave it the ability to kill a person's very soul. Subaru used its ability to kill Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti once and for all.

Sigh…

Shaking my head for now I'll settle with my research for the time being.

The time comes with patience as I have to wait a bit.

Now then about those artificial spirit creations…
