Nico's POV

He's been kind of distracted lately, eversince the Santa Monica issue. Luke, (or as we always called him.) Max, was my best friend since he startedt the job at the Agency. I was 19 and he was just 17 that time, Ally was the team leader and she was already 21 back then.

Five years later, and here we are. We had 2 year age gaps, yet it wasn't much of a hindrance. If anything, it was kind of amusing how despite the gaps, we were able to get along.

"Does he seem okay to you?" I heard Ally ask, she was looking at her computer and glancing at me from time to time, waiting for my reply.

"He seems to be deep in thought." Ally added, I nodded my head in agreement.

"I'm starting to think he's bothered badly by "Bow." He's been like this since the last appearance." I told her. Luke was the kind of guy who quickly resolves matter before they go out of hand.

"Nicobear." Ah, their nickname for me. Luke may be quiet and reserved, but around Ally and I. He's a complete fluffball who gives us nicknames.

"Yeah?" He looked at me with pleading eyes. At the moment, Ally and I ordered him to take the day off and stop with cases.

"Max, you can't." Ally said strictly.

"But why can't I? We're losing so much time. This isn't like us." He countered. He was right though, this is not us. We've solved the pending cases back to back but couldn't capture Bow at all.

"Luke Maxwell." Ally mentioned, while Luke huffed and took his phone out. He knew Ally was serious, he knew he'd get in trouble.

"Nico, remember Reyes, McCain and Devren?" I heard Ally.

"Yeah, the first victims." I answered, while others may think it was a coincidental accident, upon further investigation we found out that it wasn't.

"Reyes was reported dead from overdose. McCain from a car accident." I added.

"McCain's car brake was cut lose, and his tire was slit." Luke added.

"That's right." Ally nodded. I saw a hint of hope in Luke's eyes, I know he wants to go out but apparently not now.

"The slit wasn't that big nor pro-longed which is why he was able to drive around before it exploded. When he tried to step on the brakes, nothing happened since it was cut." Luke added.

"Let's say maybe Reyes did die from drug overdose, but why would he?" I pointed out.

"Remember the handprints we saw along his coat? None of them matched the syringe print except from his own." Ally stated.

"His case used to be called for further study, until we found a bowtie that did not belong to him. As for McCain.." Ally trailed off looking at Luke.

"McCain was already a target when we first arrived here. When he died, a bow was placed on his arm." Luke said.

All these victims had bows, bows that we didn't realize would mean so much. Reyes' bow was unnoticed, until he came accross McCain's unfamiliar bow on hand.

That's when he had the conclusion that it may be the signature murder remembrance. Which was confirmed on Bow's fourth stunt, Falcon.

"Aside from being businessmens, it was reported that all of them had one thing in common." Ally said, reading through her works.

"Mistresses." Luke stated.

Wait what?

"How did you know?" Ally asked, semi-surprised.

"During Devren's attempt murder, he walked up his suite beside a girl and only greated her upon entering the elevator." Luke smirked.

"Upon Reyes' death, his wife was mourning on how he was wearing a bowtie that was not his possesion, and perhaps was given by his old secretary. McCain did not have a driver that time because he was going out of town, apparently his wife was informed different informations." Luke said.

"I think we're onto something." Ally smirked.

"You bet we are." I added, looking at Luke who had a serious face on.

Get ready Bow, we're coming for you.

3rd's

"You seemed off?"

"What do you mean?" The younger one replied, looking at the blonde guy.

"You've been smiling all day. Did something good happen?" The blonde one asked.

"None, Can't I smile?" The brunette chuckled.

"Kay, we both know you don't smile this much." He teased.

He was Dylan James Henderson, The blonde smart guy who's currently trying to pry an answer from the younger brunette.

"Dyl, I do smile much." The woman chuckled.

"Also, don't call me Kay." She added, shaking her head as she remembered the recent events.

"Fine, Kyla." The blonde said, rolling his eyes and pretending to be annoyed.

"Did the masked woman and the Detective crossed paths again?" Dylan asked, raising his eyebrow. Kyla remained silent her thoughts wandering towards the raven haired, green-eyed Detective.

"I'll take that as a Yes." Dylan chuckled before typing away.

As for Kyla, she remained silent. A small smile creeping up the corner of her lips as she remembered how they first met, on her supposed to be third crime.

"Where are you Aldo Devren..." Kyla thought as she positioned herself for the perfect assasination. Mr. Devren, her target was on his way to his suite and she won't waste time to eliminate him.

"Gotcha." She smirked in satisfaction upon seeing the man.

Kyla watched closely, examining her prey. Devren had just returned from his business meeting, which was a perfect time for the brunette. Kyla smiled in amusement when she saw the 35 year old man kiss another woman's lips upon getting out the car.

"It's amusing how those ugly jerks are the ones to cheat on their wives." Kyla scoffed before getting her weapon ready. She wasn't going to tolerate such actions.

"Ah! Thank you very much for this assistance." Mr. Devren commented, looking at the group of officers walking beside him.

"Don't mention it sir." Sean smiled, looking at the man.

"You know Captain, the business industry seems to be scary at the moment." Aldo said.

"The passing of Mr. Reyes and Mr. McCain still surprises me." He added, while Sean on the other hand nodded.

"It is surprising indeed Sir." Sean muttered.

"Ah. It's coincidental isn't it? One in an accident, the other of overdose.' Aldo chuckled.

"It is sir." Sean nodded in agreement.

"It's like those of the business industry are chased by death." Aldo added.

"Last night, one colleague of mine nearly choked." He shared.

"Thankfully, I save th-"

"Shit!" Sean cursed, as he saw Aldo disappear from sight followed by a gunshot.

"Damn it!" Kyla groaned in frustration, her eyes glaring at her target.

"Where the fuck is he?" She muttered annoyed.

"Are you okay?" A guy with raven hair and green eyes, asked looking at the businessman who was in shock.

"Who are you?" Aldo asked, dusting himself off.

"I work with the FBI, my name's Max sir." Luke said.

"I was assigned to work here by my boss, upon Mr. Clark's request." He added, looking across the building.

"Shit." Kyla cursed before hiding herself.

"Officer Sean, take it from here." Luke stated before running off.

As Luke ran accross the street, Kyla disarmed her weapon and threw it in the trash before sliding down the building, towards the alley and stripping off her disguise. The brunette quickly went out the alley as soon as she was done and walked casually along the sidewalk until,

"Ouch!" Kyla hissed.

"I'm so sorry." A charming voice spoke, Kyla looked up to see the most beautiful pair of green eyes staring at her.

"It's okay." She mutted shyly, the raven gave her a smile before running away from her, and Kyla was stunned.

"I'm sorry, but I'm in hurry." He said as he looked back before running again.

"Kyla to earth." Dylan chuckled. The brunette had been quiet for a good 15 minutes now, just staring into space and somewhat...smiling.

"Ky, if you really want Detective Max. I suggest you go for him." Dylan said.

"Well, I am going a-Hey! I don't want him." Kyla responded in an annoyed tone.

"You keep saying that, but you keep on appearing." Dylan stated.

"Dyl, they're looking for me. They want to know who I am, of course they'll run around the town." Kyla smirked.

"Perhaps you meant, He's looking for you, he wants to know who you are. Of course he'll run around town." He corrected, smirking back at a flustered yet head-shaking brunette.

"I certainly do not mean that!" Kyla said..

"Or maybe I do." She muttered to herself, thinking about how it felt to have the raven's lips against her.

"You realize you're playing with fire right?" Dylan said.

"Dyl, you know my objectives. I'm not gonna stop until I finish that, no one can stop me." Kyla hissed, her eyes fuming with anger as a small part of memory played on the back of her mind.

"I will have my revenge."
