No, my imaginations not doing me any good=<

Chapter 20

I peered through a stranger's shoulder thinking of a way to sneak upon him. I wanted to get back at him for always scaring me out of my skin when he wasn’t watching I tip-toed to the table. “ you’re here,” he says turning around before I could do anything. Frustrated I take my seat wondering how he managed to catch me red-handed. He ordered food for the both of us as I sat there grumpy.

“ do you really have a job or is your profession being annoying?”I ask with an eye roll

“take a guess.”

“knew it…you need to get a life.”

“and you need to chill,” he says taking the ice cream from the waiter, your such a handful I’m starting to question marrying you.”

“you're not forced to you know… anywho, this is the venue. Mother said you should hand the quotation over to your parents since they haven’t been around.”

“got it!” he says tilting his head

After having lunch I went back home, yep the only reason I was as exhausted as I am was that I’ve been working night shifts for a while not getting enough sleep trough out the day. After a while I decided to go out for a jog, I was followed by a man dressed in full black, of course, I was scared out of my skin but a while after jogging even faster there was the sound of a gunshot. I froze on the spot, he rushed towards me before a car pulled overtaking me away. Everything happened so fast and I had no idea as to what was going on. After the ride, I was bought home, secretly, and then left alone. I couldn’t tell what was happening neither could I see any of their faces. That was quite a work out never to be repeated again.

I couldn’t stop thinking about what had just happened even after a soak in the bathtub. Later that night I went over to work still in shock, I knew that if I went around preaching what I saw everyone would label me as a crazy person, so I continued to work trying to forget about it. I was more afraid of people finding out other than actually being killed during my afternoon jog… I hope this isn’t a sign or related to something bad, maybe I was just coincidentally jogging through the wrong place… yes, that must be it so there’s no need for me to panic.
