Cuddle time with an oversized dog (ElodiexLaura)

Laura POV:

"When I meant I wanted to cuddle I didn't mean, cuddle cause you lost control of your wolf. They just touched my shoulder!!" I huffed and crossed my arms as best as I could as Elodie had decided to curl around me in her huge ass wolf form. Keeping me from moving at all. Elodie whimpered and nudged me in apology, "ugh your too cute like this how can I stay mad?"

She loosened her hold but I made no indication of moving away as I snuggled closer to her warm furry body. She snuggled closer as well and laid down onto her side and wraps her body around me protectively. I relaxed and drifted to sleep snuggling close and stroking her soft fur.

Sometime later I woke up on the wolf cabin's huge mattress room covered in many soft blankets. With Elodie curled around me snoring softly still in her large wolf form. I chuckle and shift closer to her snout and snuggles right under it. I smile softly as she curls around me protectively almost like she knows it's me. Our relationship isn't so romantic and lovey-dovey as some others we rarely have time for it. With the war and everyone appointing her as the unofficial leader she was always so stressed out with so many responsibilities weighing on her shoulders.

Other than us sleeping together we didn't get very much alone time so our snuggling also calmed both of us down. My mind started wandering back to a few hours ago to when this started.

-A few hours ago-

I came up and greeted the new campers brought in by the patrol group all of them seemed younger and slightly frightened, "hello everyone how are you guys doing?" I got a few murmurs of ok and "could be betters".

"Hey, Laura can ya show these newbies around?" Nico asked, shifting back into his normal look. I rolled my eyes but nodded.

"Alright, I'll show 'em around. We are right next to the medical tent it's easy to spot, it is the biggest thing in our camp," I motioned for them to follow me as I gave them a tour. A lot of questions were asked specifically by this one kid who looked to be a colourful fae and he stood too close for comfort.

Once I had finished with their tour we were back at the entrance of the camp, "alright so for housing some of the groups might take you in if they have extra bunks if not we'll build a new cabin for you guys. Even though a lot of the groups are pretty great and welcoming," I finished explaining to them and they dispersed going to talk amongst themselves or meet some of the older campers who greeted them kindly. A few stayed behind to ask more questions the colourful fae had also stayed.

He continuously got too close and touched my arm and once while talking put a hand on my shoulder and before I could tell him to move it I heard a loud growl. The poor kid's eyes widened in terror as his face went as white as a sheet. I turned around to see my stupidly hot girlfriend shifting into her werewolf form uncontrollably and racing towards us.

I pulled the kid behind me, "stay behind me kid," I put a hand out telling her it was only me and I was ok. She skidded to a stop, sniffed my hands, growled at the kid, and picked me up in her mouth by my shirt and took me just outside her cabin, and curled around me protectively. I got her to calm down and I slowly fell asleep.

-Present time-

I smiled and pet her soft fur as she slowly shifted back in her sleep. I kept her snuggled close and her head under my chin, she nuzzled into my neck.

A few minutes later I looked down to see her slowly opening her eyes and waking up, she looked up at me and had an apologetic look. I rubbed her back and twirled her thick hair in my fingers, "how are you feeling? I know it hurts sometimes when thrown into a shift like that."

"It's alright, small headache but that's it. It helped that I shifted in my sleep... sorry Laura for losing my cool like that," she leaned up to kiss my cheek and I smiled with a small blush.

"Your forgiven El, he was being a little touchy," she chuckled and traced little shapes with her fingers on my shoulder. I smiled softly at that, she is always a little soft after uncontrolled transformations. I loved when she's in a soft mood as she always had her tough and rough front on for other people. She only really took it off for her pack and me... though I guess I am part of her pack now the others were pretty cool with it.

"I love you Laura and I'll go apologize to the kid later, hopefully, he'll forgive me," she ran her fingers through my hair. I smiled and made a relaxed sigh leaning into her hand as she massaged my head.

"He'll forgive you. He did seem like a nice guy," I chuckle as she whines.

"That makes me feel worse than I do even though my wolf is still kinda proud I showed dominance over the random kid," she whines. I shrug.

"Don't think about that right now we're snuggling," I kiss her to shut her up and she caresses my face during the kiss, tangling our legs. She chuckles and snuggles closer and I rub her back.

"Do you know how long we've been cuddling?" She mumbles with her face buried in my neck. I giggle and shake my head and pet her ears making her sigh relaxed. "You know all my weaknesses don't you?'

"Yup," I respond and she giggles cutely, "it's adorable." She whines and blushes in embarrassment and I smile.

"I'm not adorable... I'm an alpha!" She protests in vain and I just laugh evilly.

"Yes you are~," she continues to blush and swats at my shoulder.

"I love you, Laura."

"Love you too El."
