Chapter 10
A few days before he had received on his cell phone a message sent from Venice and now one from Milan, where Lena explained that she would stay at least two weeks more in the city. Each message brought to his mind the memory of the woman known on the plane trip and increased his desire to meet her again. Federico had never been in contact with such a beautiful and interesting woman. He did not realize that the real purpose of these messages was precisely to keep the memory of the lady alive and that she was weaving around him her subtle net.
The young man recalled that Paula was due back from her holidays with her family in New Jersey later that week, so he still had a few days to enjoy the company of Hualing and make a decision about her and Paula.
