The inauguration of the premises in Milan had concluded successfully. Federico had changed his original plans to travel directly to Venice because he had spoken with his parents and found out that his great-grandparents had migrated to Argentina from a small town near Milan and the folks suggested that he visited it. At breakfast Lena was communicating the news to Tiziana, who asked.

"So it's kind of his return to the sources?"

"I suppose something like that."

"Where does his family come from?"

"From a village whose name I do not remember, but it is close to a town called Legnano.

"It's fifteen or twenty miles from here. I know the place, it is an industrial and agricultural area. Working people. If his relatives maintained their principles when emigrating to America you are on the right track with him. Will you go to Venice afterwards?"

“Yes."

"I'd like to find you both there. Do you have any problem with that?"
