Chapter 25

"What!!?" all of us shouted together.

That was too much to for my mind to process.

"But Karen don't you think that what you did was stupid? It makes no sense!" Nigel tried reasoning with her.

"Stupid!? You don't tell me what's stupid! If you were in my position you would know what I'm talking about!" she screamed angrily.

Nigel put up his hands in defense immediately.

"Don't you dare talk to him like that Jasmine! He didn't deserve this. Daniel didn't deserve this. They weren't even in our school. For god's sake none of us deserve this!" I raged at her.

"It was you who brought this upon yourself Jasmine! If you had asked for help at the right time then none of this would have happened. You could have been our friend and we wouldn't be in this life threatening situation." Sally tried reasoning with Karen while comforting me.

"For your information it's Karen, not Jasmine now." Karen replied paying no attention to what Sally just said.
