Kidnapped

Alex and Mira flew quickly towards the big mountain range west of Magnolia. He didn't know the name of the mountain range and right now he just couldn't care, from Wendy's scent he knew they were headed this way.

He had spent a great amount of time with Wendy and knew her scent and magical signature very well, allowing him to track her over vast distances.

'I should give her an Item that allows me to just teleport to her' Alex thought as they flew in relative silence. Mira didn't have to ask the specifics about the appearance of the Oracion Seis, they were famous enough that fairytail had gotten many reports about them.

As an employee of the guild at the time, she had read all those reports. They didn't have the specifics of the types of magic the Seis used, but they were all said to be a guild level threat. As they were flying Alex filled Mira in on everything he knew about the Seis and their magics.

Midnight/Macbeth used physical illusions and reflector magic.

Cobra/Eric used poison Dragon Slayer magic and hearing magic. Alex made sure to warn Mira, Eric's hearing Magic was at a level he could hear surface thoughts of the person he was fighting. He also had a giant snake with him at all times as a companion and mount.

Alex didn't mention the fact that the snake was actually a girl who was cursed by a dark mage as a child in the tower of heaven, he didn't have any way to prove that yet and wasn't sure how he would even go about explaining the fact he knew that.

Angel/Sorano used Angelic magic, allowing her to summon angels to fight for her at the cost of her lifespan. She was also in possession of 3 of the Zodiac keys, Gemini, Aries and Scorpio. He wasn't sure how much of a threat someone like Angel would be to Mira but he did warn her that Gemini, the twins, could copy anyone's appearance and magic that they came into contact with, though it had a time limit.

Racer/Sawyer used 'Slow Time' magic and vehicle magic. He was the one Alex was the least worried about, with his domain and anti-magic shield he doubted Racers AoE slow time would work on him.

Hot-eye/Richard used Earth magic and eye magic (heavens eyes), the combination making him a very formidable opponent while on the ground. Unfortunately for him, both his opponents in this upcoming confrontation could fly, effectively removing his biggest advantage.

Lastly Brain/Zero, the guild master and strongest member of the Seis. Brain was a researcher for the Bureau of Magical development, he had dabbled in many different magics making him quite unpredictable in that regard. Though he favoured Darkness and Archive magic.

Brain possessed a Sentient magic staff known as Klodoa, the staff had its own magic when left alone and seemed to boost Brain's own darkness magic when held.

Alex warned Mira that his goal was to deal with Brain first, he had an alter-ego known as Zero that was sealed in him and the rest of the Oracion Seis were the keys to the seal. If he could seal Brains magic before taking out the others then they wouldn't have to fight Zero.

He didn't fear Zero, the guy just had the personality of a rock with only a single goal in the world, to destroy everything. Alex didn't want to have to listen to him if at all possible.

Mira was surprised with the amount of information Alex had about this Dark guild and couldn't help but ask "How do you know all this Alex?".

"This isn't my first time dealing with these idiots. While I haven't faced any of them directly they did send a squad after my life once, and I was able to get a great deal of information from the group they sent" Alex replied, being intentionally cryptic and not giving the whole truth. He hadn't gotten any of his knowledge about the Seis from the man he interrogated.

Mira didn't question it more but was very curious about how that confrontation went. Alex told her the tale of his confrontation with 'Dark Unicorn' clear up to sending them to prison. Mira chuckled at the odd name and dress choice of the dark guild as Alex was telling the story and seemed to accept his explanation.

They continued flying towards the mountains, making great time. Alex would periodically send out a burst of Mana in a wave around him that acted as a sort of sonar to detect life, they were getting close and he didn't particularly want to lead Mira into a trap.

When Alex noticed the 7 different smells coming from the cave Wendy was in, he wrapped both him and Mira up in his {Stealth} domain and slowly floated to the cave entrance. He had explained the domain to Mira during their flight and had even given her a small device that you could place in your ear, allowing them to communicate through telepathy and not risk discovery.

So far his {Stealth} had worked against other slayer wizards but Eric specialized in hearing magic so Alex didn't want to take any chances. When they reached the entrance to the cave, Alex was just able to make out the last bit of a hushed conversation.

"Then go watch the entrance if you are so sure someone was just out there" A slightly annoyed voice said. There was a low hiss echoing through the cave system before another voice was heard. "Come Cubellios, I know I heard wings flapping out there". The voice was deep, and equally as annoyed as the first voice.

Mira and Alex remained in {Stealth} just inside the cave system as a Maroon haired man of average height and slim build came walking out from deeper in the cave followed by a big purple snake. He didn't spare their hiding forms a single glance proving he couldn't sense them at all. Once he left the cave, Alex placed a ward over the entrance that would warn him if anyone entered and they headed deeper in.

When Alex made it to the area where the rest of the Seis were gathered he stopped, completely stunned by what he saw. The other 4 members of the Oracion Seis were not with Brain as he had suspected but were surrounding a critically injured Jellal as an Uninjured Wendy was trying her best to heal him.

They all had slightly worried and confused faces while Wendy had a determined face. 'How the hell does Jellal fit into this, and where is Brain?' Alex thought, incredibly confused by the situation.

He knew Jellal had disappeared after releasing the slaves and destroying the tower, but he hadn't heard a single thing about him since. He did not expect to actually run into him again let alone so soon. It was very clear that he had been in a major fight with something or someone, and appeared to have lost the confrontation.

Wendy was doing a very good job at healing him, but had various different emotions going across her face and any given time. Alex could also tell that she had been crying recently, a fact that made him angry and without realizing it the temperature was increasing in the cave.

("Alex! Calm down! You are going to alert them") Mira spoke through telepathy, bringing Alex out of his thoughts.

("Sorry. I kinda lost my cool there") Alex responded.

Wendy wasn't harmed but the fact she had been crying let him know she was most likely brought here against her will and was uncertain of her own future. Alex knew Wendy cared about Jellal a lot and was probably eager to help him because he found and helped her as a child. Though she did not know this Jellal was not the one who helped her.

Alex could tell Wendy was getting low on Magic power and approached her while still keeping {Stealth} up. He could pull her into his domain at any given time but was getting increasingly curious as to what the hell was going on here.

When he got close he spoke to her through telepathy magic ("Don't panic Wendy, Keep healing him") He spoke calmly, startling the poor girl momentarily. It probably would have been noticed if Wendy wasn't already showing so many different emotions.

("I am here now, nothing will happen to you. You can just focus on healing him. Do you know what is going on here? Speak in your head, I will hear you") He said as he placed an invisible hand on her shoulder.

("Alex! Thank goodness. I was so worried, do you know where Carla is?") the frantic voice of Wendy called out in his head.

("She is fine, safe at the house, though she is very worried about you.") he said to the panicked child. ("Please answer my earlier question") he followed up to the now much calmer Wendy.

Alex slowly forced more Mana into Wendy's mana pool as she narrated her story to him so she wouldn't enter mana fatigue. She told him about the personal request to heal someone in the city, but when she got there she was quickly rendered unconscious.

The next thing she knew they were traveling through the sky on a purple snake. Wendy explained how she tried struggling until the person who captured her told her they needed her to heal someone she owed a lot too. She didn't believe them at first but wasn't strong enough to do anything to him and eventually started crying in helplessness.

That changed when she saw Jellal and the state he was in, she immediately started healing him and forgot to ask questions. She had already ran out of Magic power once and had to rest, she had actually just started again when Alex and Mira showed up.

'Guess I won't get my answers from her. Should I start sealing these idiots and just ask them? Yeah, that sounds like a plan' Alex thought calmly, Brain wasn't here so he didn't care about Zero's seal anymore.

Much of his anger at Wendy's kidnapping had dissipated now that he had a better grasp of the situation and knew she was unharmed. Physically at least, the mental trauma of the kidnapping might linger for a while.

When Alex turned his attention back to the rest of the kidnappers he noticed they were all alert looking around the cavern wearily. It seemed they had all noticed the increase in temperature though they were calming down as Richard/Hot-eye told them there wasn't anyone around them after checking the area with 'heavens eyes'.

With them all being conveniently bunched up, Alex could wrap them all up in his suppression domain but decided against it, doing that would allow them access to their magic again if they escaped his range. Instead he would just seal their magic, it was his go to move after figuring it out and he had questions he needed to ask this bunch anyway.

Having had lots of practice sealing people, he was able to get them all before they could react even with having to do it one at a time. They were all panicking and wondering what happened as magical bindings wrapped up their hands and feet.

Alex could tell their panic had Alerted Eric/Cobra and he was making his way here. He dropped {Stealth} momentarily before turning to Mira. "Please watch over Wendy, we have additional guests to entertain" he said quickly before entering {Stealth} again after he got a nod in response.

He quickly and silently made his way to the entrance of the cave. Cobra and Cubellios had just entered and were very cautiously making their way inside. Alex trapped both of them momentarily in his suppression domain, choosing it so he could just hit the snake with a sleep spell as sealing the magic would undo the curse on her.

He would remove the curse later but didn't want that to be the focus of the upcoming meeting. Eric panicked when he lost his magic but it was quickly replaced with concern when he saw his friend go limp. "CUBELLIOS!" he shouted as he rushed to her side.

'Hmmm, more concerned about his companion than even his own situation eh?' Alex mused before sealing Cobra's magic and binding him. He put up much more of a struggle than the others had and his eyes never left his Companion.
