Ratting out Lin Kai so Hao Ran won’t die

After class finished, Lin Kai went to his dorm. "It's all a bunch of bullshit, manipulating you into serving the Underworld sect, getting you depressed and then curing you so that Underworld sect would seem like your savior. But luckily I've got you, right buddy?" Lin Kai thought to himself and asked the system

[Yes, BUDDY] They system replied but tried copying Lin Kai's word.

Lin Kai gave a look of disgust, "Don't ever do that again, it's weird." Lin Kai told the system.

[Understood]

"Anyways, luckily they gave me something good since I told them I like poison." Lin Kai said and pulled out two techniques called 'poison world' and 'poison concealment'.

This was perfect for Lin Kai's future plans and Lin Kai started to cultivate these techniques seriously. He spent a month practicing these techniques and also realized the system can help him with techniques just like a tutor helping a kid with his homework. Lin Kai also turned 15 while he was cultivating.

While Lin Kai was cultivating he also raised his cultivation to heaven roaming 2nd stage to avoid people bullying him and him needing to kill them although he would've enjoyed it.

Once Lin Kai finished cultivating, he walked outside and smelled the super hot air. "This is some rip off ass, dollar store ass air." Lin Kai thought.

"Hao Ran should've already reached the heavens mountain sect, wonder how his acting went?" Lin Kai thought to himself.

[Dont worry, Host. Hao Ran seems to be reliable]

"Psshhh, reliable my ass. I hope he died on the way... did he realize I took his money yet?" Lin Kai thought to himself and headed to class.

"Help! Help!" Hao Ran arrived at the heavens mountain sect with the doll of Lin Kai in his hands.

"Please, call an elder!" Hao Ran ran up to the guards that's were guarding the entrance and started crying.

The guards saw the bloodied Lin Kai that was full of holes and got worried. "D-Don't worry! Well call an elder right now!" They left the entrance and went to call an elder.

An elder on a mountain top saw this seen unfold and thought, "What is this fake act?" As he was curious, he left and appeared before Hao Ran in an instant.

"What ploy are you trying to pull with that doll?" The elder looked at Hao Ran menacingly.

"Well you see, my friend Lin Kai came up with this plan where he would infiltrate the Underworld sect by faking his death and changing his appearance, he also didn't tell any elders about this because he said that he has a technique he cultivated when he was young that allowed to see who his enemies are, and apparently one of the elders is from Underworld sect, there's also this other girl named Lu Na that is an undercover underworld agent in our sect and we couldn't take action against them because we don't have any evidence, he also said that he'll try and sabotage the Underworld sect while he's there." Hao Ran quickly, without hesitation, ratted out Lin Kai's whole plan.

"What about the elder? What's his name?" The elder asked.

"Well he didn't tell me." Hao Ran responded quickly.

"Hmmm, I'll join the plan to then, I'll take Lu Na as a discipline and feed her fake information." The elder smiled widely as he forced himself into the plan.

"It'd be our honor for you to join our plan!" Hao Ran said trying to flatter the elder.

"Nooo! Lin Kai, why did you have to leave so early?!" Cheng Li came with fake tears going down her cheeks. There was also an elder and the two guards from before behind her.

"Enough, I'll handle taking care of him." The elder stopped them in there tracks.

"Elder, Cheng Li is part of the plan." Hao Ran whispered as low as he can so nobody could hear it except for the elder in front of him.

"You, come over here. The rest of you can leave." The elder brought Cheng Li next to Hao Ran with his mysterious energy that nobody there could understand. It seemed like she teleported from one place to another to everybody.

"Leave!!!" The elder shouted and they all ran away.

"Come with me." Although the elder said this, Hao Ran and Cheng Li had no choice and appeared on a mountain.

"I'll train you guys personally for the next couple of years until the war with Underworld sect starts. I hope your friend doesn't disappoint with his sabotage." The elder told them.

"Umm, elder? What's your name?" Cheng Li asked the elder hesitantly.

"Me? I am, Chao Fan." The elder said his name to them.

"Well, you did do what you're name says already, you became a super strong cultivator." Hao Ran said.

"Hmm, you don't understand, do you? Anything under beta realm is considered mortal. So that means you guys are still mortals." Elder Chao Fan explained to them.

"Anyways, if you need any resources, just ask me and I will provide. Also, Cheng Li, right? You are an extraordinary talent, beyond anything I recognize." As elder Chao Fan finished theses words he left them alone to look for Lu Na, confusing both of them.
